I heard that a manager at the local disney store in Pa. gets 1 free trip to disney every year (hotel,park tickets) transportation is up to them

and 30% off stuff from store

first is it true?
second is it for all disney empoyees or just managers

or is some one blowen smoke at me?

if its true where do i get an application!!!

I work for a company owned by Disney. We get free passes for ourselves and 3 others for the year. We get 50% off hotels and 35% off Disney Store stuff and at shops at the park. I don't know if this is exactly what the Disney Store employees get, but I can't imagine it's much different...

It's certainly a sweet deal, I don't complain.

This might seem obvious, but just in case...The Disney Store chain is actually no longer owned by Disney. The stores were sold to Children's Place. Could benefits have changed due to the change in ownership? In the past, (when still owned by Disney) DS employees did enjoy various WDW/DL discounts plus at one time I think they got some kind of free admissions.

No obvious at all, I had no idea! I just figured that it was still owned by Disney because we still get a discount there.

But I would imagine that benefits have changed if ownership changed...

Children's Place ownes and operates The Disney Store.

When I left, merchandise discounts were all that was offered.

Now when TDS was owned by Disney the management 'deals' were similar to what Binkrin posted. PT employees got 2 'comp' tickets and hotel/merchandise discounts.

I don't believe that currently there are any tickets perks or hotel discounts for TDS employees.

Not true at all.

Store managers get a pass that gets them and *maybe* their dependents in a few times a year. Room discounts are not offered to them any longer.

When they switched over I asked the manager if they still got those "perks" and she said they don't get anything anymore.
