OK - stupid question coming ... When you go on rides at DQ that require you to wear a helmet for the virtual reality effects, how does this work if you wear glasses? Does the helmet fit over your glasses easily?

Okay, when we went to DQ, admittedly a few years ago, I found it to be harder to deal with the virtuals. I only did one, but while it fit over the glasses, it was not a great fit and I had a hard time focusing on the effects. But, maybe it was just me. Hopefully, someone will have a more recent answer for you.

We went a couple of years ago and the Pirates of the Caribbean one was fine with glasses. I don't remember any problems.

For the aladdin flying carpet ride - I put the helmet on over the glasses - wasn't a great fit but hey I figured as much. The problem came after I took the helmet off- I don't know if it was me or the glasses or the ride or the helmet- but I was so dizzy that I had to leave DQ and go back to my hotel for a while. I felt so guilty b/c it was my BF's first time there. I made it up to him the last time - but made sure to stay away from that ride.
I will say that a few years before I did the aladdin thing (I don't remember if i had glasses on or not) but I was fine. It might depend on how bad your eyesight is.

Sorry if this disappoints.

That ride makes EVERYONE dizzy if you aren't used to virtual reality..my DH won't do it at all...I don't have a problem with it though.

I see ALOT of people sitting on a bench outside the ride trying to 'collect' themselves after doing it - so it probably wasn't your glasses - just your reaction to the ride. (sorry!)
