? about Toontown

Does anyone know when the characters start greeting there? We have ADR's at CP our first morning at 8:15, and I was wondering if we should head over there right at 9 to avoid the long lines. We were at Disneyland in June and the lines were so long at Mickey's and Minnie's houses. Thanks!

I believe Toontown opens an hour after the rest of the MK. the last couple times mickey and minnie weren't at their houses. I'm not sure what time they start showing up.

it opens at 10 a.m. daily, unless it has changed since jan. 06. there is a rope drop....we have always went straight for the tent where the Princess Room is located....there is another room there too w/ disney characters....both rooms are ready w/ characters at 10 a.m. after rope drop, many head for goofy's roller coaster b/c goofy rides the 1st ride w/ the kids. i haven't tried this but this is what i've heard & will try it next time. i'm not sure if minnie & mickey are there at 10 in their houses but i would think so.

Just to clarify, Minnie is not in her house; she's usually at the Toontown Hall of Fame, though. There is another character (often Pluto) in Minnie's back yard gazebo.

But yes, Mickey and Minnie both start greeting at 10 (at least they did in November when we were there). Mickey's line often looks bad but it moves VERY fast.
