Hi all,
Saw the infomercial for the Cricut personal cutter machine and about to get one. I am so excited!
I would love to know what your favourite fonts are. I want to buy some cartridges which I will get a lot of use out of - not just for a few projects....
I do a lot of Disney scrapbooking so I am probably going to get Mickey fonts. Any others ones which you cannot live without? I would love to know your faves fonts and cartridges....
Thanks.

Alphalicious and Cuttin up are two faves. I also really like Opposites Attract. There is a lot you can do with that cart.

I use Opposites Attract and My World alot.

Have fun playing with your bug. :thumbsup2

Alphalicious and Opposites attract for font carts and My World and Paper dolls for non fonts.

Oh and don't buy it off the infomercial,I have heard about people being over charged for it. Typically Michael's and ACMoore have good sales.

Cuttin Up and Alphalicious are favorites as well as the new Storybook!

My all time favorite is Paper Dolls, it is not so much a font one but it just has so many uses!! I LOVE it!

I use Alphalicious and Cuttin' Up the most.

I'm also finding a lot of pretty things on the Home Accents cart but unfortunately that one doesn't come with a book :confused3 so it's a lot of trial and error!

Thanks ladies for all your advice! I took your advice and didn't buy off the informercial. I bought it at my local Walmart for $197. I also bought my 1st Cricut cartridge - Mickey fonts of course! We get the cartridges here for around $65 CDN.

I haven't even taken it out the box yet...not sure where to start! LOL

I love my Opposites Attract and Cutting Up carts!!!

I just bought Opposites Attract when Michael's was having a half off sale and can't wait to use it! I have been wanting it for a loooooooooonggg time!

LOL I find it funny so many liked opposited attract b/c I found I never used it. I traded it.
I do mostly cards so I like Streatch your imagination. I am having fun w/ wildcard

Think I am going to get Opposites Attract - seems neat!
I got the Mickey font and cannot wait to play with it...I am sure I will be just as addicted as you guys!!!:cool1:

I have mickey and friends both the pict and font. I made a cute room sign for my nephew I will have post a pict of it.

My fav fonts are Alphalicious & Opposites Attract. If you get the Design Studio Software, then I'd recommend Cursive 101, I love how it looks welded together. For shape carts, I love Paper Dolls. Even if you never make a doll (I've made two for LOs, Mr Smee & Indiana Jones :)), there are LOADS of extras on the cart that make it so worth it! If you're going to be scrapping Disney, I have to recommend any and all of the Disney carts! I have Mickey Font (which you already got, and I know you'll love!), Mickey & Friends, and the 2 Princess carts. I've used them SO much, I got my money's worth out of all of them 10 fold.

What is so good about Paper Dolls? I cannot see myself making possibly more than 1 doll. I would love to hear about this one....I know a lot of people love it but how many times will I put a paper doll in my albums....please enlighten me on this...very curious
Also, are there any good magazines which give you creative ideas on what to do with a Cricut?

By the way, I read a thread someone of people raving about a Paper Dolls cheat sheet. How can this be used? Anyone heard of this?
