How does the TIW card work with the Hoop De Doo Revue? We're booking the 9:30 time so we can use the card but does it even pay to do it that late if the price will be around the same as one of the earlier shows? Gratuity is automatically added in for this show... TIA!

Not sure I understand what you are asking, but you will get a discount with TIW on this show so it is a savings.

I didn't know there were different price points for different times at HDDR. If that is true, AND if your discounted 9:30 price and a price for an earlier show would be about the same, I would do an earlier show. My family could not handle such a late dinner time and bedtime at Disney.

But as I said, I didn't know there was a price difference between times - we just skipped the TiW and went to an earlier show.

Just checked the pricing info and I don't see a difference in cost for any of the shows. The 9:30 is priced the same as the earlier shows.

are for the different categories. You will receive a 20% discount on the late show. If you have TIW at the time of booking they may give you the discount then but if not pick up your tickets at the window at Pioneer Hall and they will give it to you then. You have to pay at the time of booking but they give you the discount as a credit on your charge card when you pick up the tickets.

So you get the 20% off but then they add the 18% gratuity, correct? So in reality, it would cost close to the same for us to go to an earlier show.

The TIW card can only be used at the 9:30 show. While it is late, if it's going to save us over $50, I'd probably do it but with the gratuity added in there, I'm not sure if it would be any different than not having the TIW card, kwim?

Gosh this stuff is so confusing... lol...

I don't believe they will add an extra 18% gratuity since it is included in the price of the meal- I believe you just get a 20% discount without having tip added.

The gratuity for HDDR is included in the price stated, whether you use TiW or not. So going at a time when you can use the TiW will save you 20%.

Thank you both! That's what I was hoping for. I was questioning on getting the TIW since it would only save a few dollars (like $10 or so for our entire trip) but now that makes sense and is definitely worth it.
