Does anyone know if the special ticket deal they have going (5 days with a free kids ticket per adult ticket for 99) has expiration dates?

If I buy them, can I use them for like 3 days now, and then the other 2 days next year?

that is just one of the 3 ticketing options. they will expire at the end of the year.

I was confused about this:

If I purchase the 2 park, 2 day ticket for my self, does my 5 year old get the same ticket, or does he just get a 1 park ticket?

the ticket promo of 2 park 2 days with 5 days free and child ticket free must be used consecutively

they expire on the 4th day after you first use them. for example, if you first use the ticket on monday, the last day they would be valid for park entrance would be friday. you can't go a few days and then save them for a later trip.

yes, the child ticket is just like the adults. it is for 5 days of park entrance.

OK, here's an interesting twist. Universal is running a promotion, where if you buy an adult 2 day/2 park pass, you get a free child's pass of the same. So, if my wife and I both buy the 2 park/2 day ticket, we'd get the free child's ticket for our son, and the total would be $218. If we buy 2 adult 1 day passes and 1 child's 1 day pass, the total would be $178. So, we're talking about an extra $40 for all 3 of us. Almost seems silly not to do it.

If I purchase two adult passes, and get the two free passes, can I upgrade one of the children's passes at the gate to an adult pass for my son who is 14? If so, this would be a good deal for my family.

i think that is pushing it as he is 14 .

if you bought the tickets when he was 9 and now coming back with that unused ticket, then the upgrade would be justified.
