I went December 2004 during Pop Warner. I didn't even know they were at WDW until I got back and read that Pop Warner was taking place during early December. There weren't any crowds and it was the perfect time to go. Don't worry about it and have fun. :sunny:

the only early park closing for Pop Warner is: MGM closes at 7 PM on December 9 for their party. The kids will be competing at Wide World of Sports. If they're in the parks at all otherwise it will be probably in their own league groups. Unless you are staying at the same resort as a lot of their groups you will not see tons of them together.

There are also early closings at MK, but that is for Mickey's christmas party (a popular yearly ticketed event) and has nothing to do with Pop Warner.
