We went last Oct. and disney increased there ticket prices in Aug. and my trip budget. My question is, If I go ahead and turn my room only into a pkg. and pay the ticket prices now then if the tickets do go up I will have pd. what they are now. Here's the part I need to know, what happens if I get a code and want to apply that to my reservation. Will I have to rebook and thus will have to pay the new ticket price. Last year I did the Visa and the deposit had to be done with the visa so the CM rebooked our room only into a pkg, our deposit was returned from the room only and a new deposit was applied. What is the best way to go about this and what. I hope someone can understand me and help !!

I am somewhat in the same boat! I have the room and I am nervous about this ticket price increase. I thought about adding it on today. But I didn't know if it would screw up any package discounts that come out later or what if there is a room only code???? Please help.

Not sure how much help I'll be but I think that if you buy before the ticket increase then you should be all set - I don't know anything official but my fiance and I went last November after the price increase but we had tickets that were purchased in Aug. We weren't asked to pay more. Although if you are staying on property, you can buy more days at the resort for under $5.:wizard:

I have read that there will no longer be a discount for advance ticket purchases. Meaning that the price at the gate will be the same as the Disney Store, CRO etc. That being said, if you are not using the dining plan, you may want to consider buying your tickets now either through the Disney Store or a vendor such as undercover tourist or maple leaf tickets. They are dicounted by about $5-6 per ticket depending on the days and the price includes tax and shipping is free. This way if a code comes along you can still try and apply it to your room only reservation and don't have to worry about canceling and paying different prices for tickets. Hope this makes sense!:confused3 Good Luck!:wizard:

I really want to do the dining plan for our first 2 days and this is my problem. I have a room only now booked. I just need to know if I go ahead and turn that into a pkg. will the ticket prices reflect what I would pay now when the hopefully discounted pkgs come out in a few days (after the price of tix go up). Anybody have expierence with this from last year.

I changed my room only to a package today. I was told that the price increase would not affect it. Not to mention if the price increase does not happen I can cancel it 45 days out. So if I decide to go back to my plan of buying everything seperate. I really would just like to get a code for a package and keep what I have now though. So here's hoping! :cool1:

Thank-you, I think I will just call tomorrow and turn my room only into a pkg. Will just have to go from there. My 45 days out is Aug. 28 so I think we should know somthing by then as far as discounts go!!
