What time does MK close for non-MNSSHP guests? We are spending the majority of our day at MK, but not staying for the halloween party. Does anyone know what time they start kicking everyone out?
Thanks!

The party starts at 7 and that's when non party people will be "kicked out". Announcements will be made starting around 6 and every 15 minutes or so until 7 saying that the park will be closed at 7 for the party.

Everyone SHOULD be gone by 7pm. Last year and the year before there were tons of people who did not have wrist bands on still in the park taking advantage of short wait times. It was very frustrating for those of us who were paying customers. I have heard Disney is getting better about it though. I would suggest planning on getting in line for your last ride around 6:30 (depending on wait times) and then call it a night.

Last year we went on Buzz and more than half of the people in line were not party goers. Some were even laughing about not having to leave. :headache:

Around 5pm i found the park gets busy as the party guests really start filling in. I would plan on leaving shortly after. We stayed for P&P party til 6 and it got so crowded, we were glad to leave

Thanks everyone! That's kind of what I was figuring.
We have a 4:30 AAA Storytime, so we will probably just leave right after- since it's at the Town Hall near the exit.

DreamerGirl, with what the MNSSHP costs I'd hope the Disney's Security would be actively asking the non-party goers to leave. However, if they are not and even if the park is full of daytime guests.... My daughter and I are still having fun. No crusades, no tilting at windmills... I'm on vacation, dang it!

This is our first year for the MNSSHP. We have a huge day planned for that day and NOTHING is going to get in the way of our happiness.

Belle, you don't have to worry about daytime guests, i am sure some sneak by but the CM do a good job of clearing guests and they will check wristbands. In the winter at P&P i saw many guests ask to leave. They will not be able to go on rides, see characters etc. Most people will:rolleyes: respect the fact that you do need to pay to stay....:upsidedow

we were at the first party on 9/5. I didn't pay attention to ride lines because my kids were more interested in the candy lines. I did notice that every store on Main St had 1 or 2 cm's stationed in every doorway, telling guests without wrist bands that they could not enter. Never thought I'd ever see them turn away paying customers lol! When we did start doing rides it was pretty late and there weren't any lines, it was all a walk on. We didn't try the big ones, we were in Fantasy Land and did Peter Pan, Small World, Snow White, etc. The only ride we did in another area was the go-cart speedway thing.

It was much better last year than the year before. But there are always those few that try to buck the system. We always have a great time, but it can be frustrating.

In the past they dont' seem to care if non-party people stay, they just can't ride rides... I think Disney still enjoys the fact that they will then be buying trinkets and food as they wander about.

I disagree. I've seen how there are CMs at every entrance to every store and bathroom not letting non-party guests in. I've seen CMs at the entrance to each Land not letting non-party guest through. I've seen CMs all over Main Street whose sole purpose is to direct non-party guests out of the park.

That has been my experience anyway.

I'm happy that they dont let the people get anywhere now besides Main Street/hub. The people how pay the $55 for the ticket now can truly get what they pay for.

Though in their defence they SHOULD lower the cost during the days the MNSSHP is happening. They pay $75 for 10 hours and then forced out. Where as the guests pay $48-$55 for 9 hours, diffrent parade, diffrent fireworks, diffrent show, unique meet and greets, candy galore AND less crowds with no waits in any lines. I can see why they would try to stay for the parade at least.

I've been twice now, and they always check wristbands. My sister and I were asked several times to show ours throughout the night. I've seen them herding non party guests towards the exits.:thumbsup2

I can only hope that maybe they'll do this for EMH as well, though I highly doubt it. :sad2:
