I am trying to decide about dining options in MK. Have never tried Tony's and would like some opinions about it. Would love to hear from anyone that has tried the new Tomorrowland Terrance Noodle Stations. Sounds interesting. It maybe perfect for grabbing a bite before finding a spot for wishes and we wouldn't need a PS. Your opinions and suggestions would be great. Just adults this trip so no picky kids to worry about :cool1:

I have just heard of the Noodle place for the first time in the last couple of days....what exactly is this??

The noodle place is what the Plaza Pavilion used to be - it's counter service with Asian noodle bowls, stir-fries, dumplings, etc...sounds really yummy. I've always liked the location and view from the PP, but the selection was "eh" (same old chicken tenders and the like). I'd like to read some reviews, too.

You'll get different opinions about Tony's, but my Italian family felt it was mediocre at best, for $$$. We splurge on many meals at WDW, but this place was definitely not worth it to us. I'd even take a hotdog at Casey's over Tony's.

::MickeyMo Haven't tried the noodle station, but we personally like Tony's. It's all a matter of opinion. I personally feel that you need to try it for yourself and then form your own opinion. You can't really go off by what others say because everyone has different tastes and preferences. If you don't like it, then don't go back, otherwise you have a restaurant that you know you enjoy. We go there every year. But that's us. So give it a try and I hope you enjoy it as we do. ::MinnieMo

Tony's wasn't terrible, but it wasn't very good--Olive Garden is better, and it was VERY expensive for the money.

Someone just posted yesterday or today a negative review of the noodle place. :(

Tony's has good food and very reasonable considering the atmosphere.
I do not think you would be disapointed in this choice.
But it is by far not Mama Melrose or Afredos type of food
I think it is the best place to eat in MK
But I also love Peco's Bill --there is just something about that fixin bar

We really wanted to like Tony's, and we had dinner there twice hoping that our first experience was just an off night. After a second so-so experience, we finally decided that Tony's just isn't for us. The food was okay at best and the service was below what we usually find at WDW. However, I recommend trying any restaurant that sounds interesting to you so that you can decide for yourself. Some of our favorite WDW restaurants often get poor reviews here on the boards.

For a sit-down meal at MK, we enjoyed LTT. I'll be trying Plaza Restaurant for the first time in May, but I've heard good things about it. For counter service, we love Columbia Harbour House.

I am also looking forward to reviews of the new noodle station.

::MickeyMo We'll be trying Plaza Restaurant in May for the first time as well. Same thing with Columbia Harbor House (it's included in the KTTK tour). I've read a few good reviews on the noodle station. I'll have to try it for myself. ::MinnieMo

Tonys was horrible. My wife ordered a pork chop and it was served raw. Sent it back and it came back still way undercooked. They had a new "cook" who was used to cooking precooked food and though he only had to brown it. Finally ordered something else. The rest of the food was barely adequate.

If you're looking for a sitdown meal either go with LTT or try one of the monorail resorts.

Ewwwww!!! Thta's NASTY!

I agree, taking the monorail to a resort for a meal is the best choice!

I have to vote with the majority here. As a New Yorker of Italian parents, I might be spoiled, but we have found Tony's just like an Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill. Besides, what good is pasta without a glass of wine? ;)

But, everyone has his/her own opinion, so if you're in the mood for Italian and you're in the MK, see if you like it!

You think it's that good? :confused3

Olive Garden and Macaroni Grill are MUCH better than Tony's.

I agree-you insulted the Olive Garden!

We love the concept of Tony's, and have tried to give it a chance, eating there on each of our last two WDW visits, but the food both times was just dreadful. It's officially off our list!

::MickeyMo Well, unfortunatley, the MK is a dry kingdom. ::MinnieMo

I agree with the earlier posts that Columbia Harbour House is a great counter service. The only sit down meal I've had at MK was Crystal Palace which DH and I thouroughly enjoyed! Other than that, it's Harbour House and Casey's for us so far!

::MickeyMo I really enjoy the stack sandwich and Cosmic's (however hectic it is). They bake the bread fresh every day and it's foccacia bread. It also has a honey mustard dressing on it, delish! ::MinnieMo

I agree,Tonys is not really very good for Italian food. But they useto do a GREAT breakfast! And I sure wish they would bring it back! The restaurant itself is very pretty. Joan :flower: :flower: :flower:
