Right now we are booked for our stay, park tickets and the dining plan for Jan 2006. Due to new budget issues we are thinking of taking the dining plan off. What if by some wonderful chance free dining is offered during that time, would we still be elgibile if we were not booked for it at that time?? Would I just call and say that I see that free dining is being offered and I would like to upgrade to having it or how would that work?
Wanting to know before I take the dining plan off of our reservation.

It all depends...if the change is outside 45 days and they are rooms available at your resort on the hypothetical promotion, it should be no problem. If it's inside 45 days and your total price decreases as a result, it's a $50 fee. I strongly suggest you reconsider cancelling the dining plan if you plan to eat at alot of table service/character meals though because it really saves on the budget in the end. You can add it back in if you cancel it now as long as it's 3 days or more before your arrival if finances allow...I would consider that a "Plan C" option.
