Posted this on the DISabilities but figured I would post it here too....

Do all handicapped rooms have just a king bed in them??? Also are there handicapped rooms that have two beds in them and a roll in shower?? My mom is having knee surgery just before we go and I will need a roll in shower as it will be difficult for her to lift her leg to get in and out of the shower...what should I do??? Thanks in advance for the help!!!

Our HA room at WL had a king bed. At OKW, our HA room had 2 queen beds and a roll in shower. We were in a studio.

I was in a HA room at the GF which had two queens and a roll-in shower, and a fabulous castle view.

I think at the value and moderate resorts all the HA rooms are kings, but there is a mixture at the HAFH and deluxe resorts.

Hello! I believe Tyler said that the POP had HA rooms that had two doubles in them as well as Kings. You may want to look into that.

I didn't realize that you already had ressies at WL. I would try to call the front desk of the hotel direct.

If you haven't called WDW Special Reservations
Voice: 407-824-4321 TTY: 407-827-5141

Resort Reservations: 407-939-7807 (TTY: 407-939-7670)
They can help with the "what's available" questions.
Also, if you need a room with a roll-in shower and the only ones they have are one king bed, many of the resorts also have some with a connecting room with 2 queens.
