? About Free Dining Plan...

Sorry if this has already been asked...but if you book during free dining, can you choose to just do the quick service plan instead of the original...one counter service, one table, snack, etc...???

Nope sorry. It is the Basic dining plan free. You can upgrade to the deluxe and pay the difference, but they do not allow you to downgrade.

No But I hear last year they announced right before free dinning started that you could trade TS for CS and I think you also got some free pins or something for giving up the TS. Who knows if they will do it this year. We were going to do QSDP but then free dinning came out and we saved $380 by going with the regular dinning plan. I figured out tips for the 9 sit downs at the most will be about $180 at 18% so I am saving @ $200 by doing free dinning. We really didn't want to be boggled down with so many sit TS's because we wanted more park time and less time in restaurants this year. Hopefully they will let us switch some of the TS for CSand we can keep some and still eat at a few TS resaurants. If not we will still have a great vacation. Good luck to you!

You can upgrade but not downgrade. But as noted above, for the past few years there's been an announcement that during free dining you can trade TS for CS plus snacks and/ or merchandise. The only thing you couldn't get would be the refillable mug that comes with the QS plan.
