Hello!

We're making our first trip in October, so I'm finalizing our dining reservations for when I can call in this month. There are a few character buffets that I'm trying to decide between breakfast/lunch/dinner, so my question is: if there is an extra magic hour that morning at a park, is it safe to assume that the restaurant still opens at the normally scheduled time? (for ex-if Crystal Palace normally opens up at 8am, it still opens up at 8am on a day with EMH?)

Also, if anyone has thoughts on which meals you prefer as far as breakfast or lunch or (when applicable) dinner, on the following restaurants, I'd love to hear them! Crystal Palace, Tusker House, Chef Mickey's

Thank you!

It's been my experience that even with EMH, the park restaurants open at their normally scheduled time. Example -- two weeks ago, the MK had EMH at 7am. The Crystal Palace opened at 8am.

Crystal Palace is our favorite character breakfast. We always try to schedule that for our first full day in the MK. We also like Tusker House for breakfast --never tried it for lunch or dinner. For Chef Mickey's, I much prefer breakfast over dinner.

The in-park restaurants open at 8:00 or 8:05 regardless of whether there is a morning EMH or not.
