? about EMH arrival time (at night)

Hi! I apologize if this has been discussed here before, but I tried to search and could not find my question. I am planning ahead, day dreaming I should say, of our trip in August and wondering about the EMH nights. I am planning on going to MK on a EMH(evening) and wondering do you have to arrive at the park within the two hours before the original closing time in order to get a wristband? For example, if MK usually closes at 8:30 on that day and because of EMH it will close at 11:30 instead, can we arrive at 8:30 and still get wristbands to stay late or do we have to be in the park earlier and get them?

Sorry if this is confusing the way I wrote it. I am trying to plan a ps around that night and just wondering how EMH nights work. Any help is appreciated. THANKS!

As long as you are a Disney resort guest you can enter any time after "official" closing time and get a wristband for EMH.
