? about changing resorts on 4/3 plan

I've booked a trip for May 9-16th for myself, my sister and her boyfriend. We booked a family suite at All Star Music.

My sister's bf may not be able to come, but he won't know till February, early March at the latest. What I'm wandering is if I've already booked using the 4/3 deal would I be able to switch to another resort come February or March if it turns out he can't come and still get the 4/3 deal? I want to switch over to Port of Orleans if he can't come but am worried that I won't get to keep the 4/3 rate.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If there are still rooms available under the special rate sure. However, by that time, chances are all the specials will be gone.

Worse is, you will be stuck with the family suite as there might not even be regular rooms available at the ASMu...

You should strongly consider switching now to two rooms at the ASMu. Since they will be under the same rez. you will be able to get connecting rooms. However if your Sis BFs won't make it, then drop one room if there's nothing available.

I think you would lose the discount if you tried to switch hotels that late. The special is only good for trips booked before 12/20 so if you tried to change in Feb/Mar it would probably be too late since they would no longer have any rooms set aside for the 4/3 KWIM?

I think I'm going to go ahead and do as the previous poster suggested and change to two rooms at all stars. I would prefer POR if it's just me and my sister b/c we love that hotel. My parents wouldn't mind but his parents aren't ready to let them stay in the same room just yet.
