I am trying to help our friends book their first Disney trip, and have run into a question I'm not sure about - hoping someone here on the DIS knows the answer!
Right now they have booked one night (Sept. 6) at Pop Century with a 2-day Park Pass. They will be visiting family in Florida during the week and then will return to Disney to take advantage of free dining Sept 12-14 at Coronado Springs, which they have purchased an additional 3 day Park Pass. My question is - can they just combine the Park Passes into a 5-day Pass and have it count towards the one-day minimum ticket requirement for the Dining Plan? They would start using it during their Sept 6th stay, so it would still be good for 14 days and would cover the remaining part of their trip. But I don't know if this would still qualify them for the free dining plan, since the passes would technically have been purchased for the first reservation. I hope that makes sense.
Thanks for the advice!
