We will be a party of 8 for our reservations. 4 of us are on the dining plan the other 4 are not. I am a dvc member and can get a discount on some of the dining options of 10%. Can I use this on the 4 people not on the dining plan since we are all sitiing together.

Yes. It is very easy. When the server first comes over state that you need two checks. One will be for the people on the dining plan and the other for everyone else. I know when I do this I will also specify that anything for the people on the plan (such as appetizers or specialty drinks) that is not covered by the plan should be in the second check.

Note sine you have six or more people, even though there will be separate checks, each check will get an 18% gratuity added for the amount of that particular check.
