ABD Cruise Add on: Do we get "the box"?

We're doing the ABD Barcelona add on that starts May 29th and we just got our box on Friday as well

Still no box Leave June 6th. Ummm

I called and they are having some problems with the "boxes". Said they will ship in a week or so.....that would mean May 27th ish. We leave June 5th with a couple of pre nights in Milan. Calling it close! They did sound confident tho!!!

We got our box! Well, one of them I guess. We are on the June 12 Barcelona pre-cruise trip and the June 15 Med /Greece cruise. Our box only covers the Barcelona trip. It said the Mediterranean Magic ABD information will come from DCL. My DCL book says the information will come from ABD. If it wasn't frustrating, it would be funny. Hopefully we get another box this week with the cruise info!

My ABD box for pre cruise Barcelona on June 5 came on May 16.I am happy to get the box!

We are doing the June 12 pre-cruise Barcelona adventure and we got our box on May 17. We are also doing the cruise tour adventure, but we have not received any information on this part of our trip. In our Barcelona box, there is a contract that has to be signed and returned. You could mail it back or there was an email address you could send it to. I used the email and took the opportunity to ask about the cruise tours. They said it should be shipped on 6/1 and received by 6/7. Talk about cutting it close! We leave for Barcelona on June 11! They appologized for the delay and said something about printers. Unfortunately they also said something about this always happening at the beginning of the season. Sure wish they could implement changes so the same thing does not 'always' have to happen! For now, I will just keep holding my breath.

I don't know if the add-ons are any different, but what I got was a backpack and the detailed itinerary.

Same thing for the pre cruise add-on. We got backpacks and the detailed itinerary. The itinerary book includes the luggage tags and tip envelopes.

What size were the backpacks? Anything exciting in the itinerary that isn't on the website?

I cannot imagine that they would *not* have daily special pins for the Barcelona add-ons!

Yay!!! I got the box today! We leave in 7 days. Now we have our detailed itinerary! O and backpacks for all 4 of us!

I would contact them, they say it was a printing problem, but if you leave that far in advance it could be a problem! Have a great trip!

Hi everyone! We are registered for the July 25th ABD add on for the Med cruise. The info regarding "the box" is really appreciated.

One question ... Do any of you see your ABD add-on anywhere on your Disney Cruise on line reservation info? For example, I went on line today to print out cruise documents and no where does it list our ABD option (I assumed it would be listed with ship activities). I have the receipts, so I know I paid for it! . I also know from the previous posts that there is a disconnect in communication between DCL and ABD ... This could be just another example.

Just making sure ... Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

The ABD info was never listed on my DCL reservation. It would have been nice to see it listed there, but such is ABD/DCL life I guess. We leave tomorrow and I am just going to take all my paperwork and trust that everything is reserved properly.

The pre cruise ABD in Barcelona was fantastic.We got a pin every day. I do not like how DCL does not list on your reservation page. We had a small group of 13 but the next cruise was 40. We got in to Sagrada Familia, Park Guell and Montserrat early before the crowds. The restaurant at Montjuic was amazing and spectacular views. We loved the 7 day Med cruise and of course I booked a cruise for next year-Alaska!
