Hi everyone,

Im going on the ABD trip Backstage Magic with the podcast crew in July.
Ive never been to Disneyland and while Ive traveled to WDW so many times I think Ive lost count. Im stumped when it comes to DL.
I dont know what kind of bag I should bring for my stuff!

I know, it seems kind of a silly thing. But here is the major diffrence from travelling to WDW, and DL for me.
My kids are staying home! Normally its everything in the diaper bag and I have a stroller.

So what kind of bag should I get? I was looking at LUG, but I just dont know what to do.

I dont want to bring my purse, I want a nice fashionable bag that I can fi my wallet/passport and camera and other various things. In ( ipod/smartphone)

Also do people dress diffrently when visting DL than WDW?

I usually dress dressy casual. Sometimes with a character tee..

Well, chances are it won't be nearly as humid at DL as it would be at WDW. So people tend to wear more cottony stuff. Otherwise, I really don't think there's much difference in dress that I've seen.

I bought this bag as a travel purse, and really love it. It caries a small camera, sunglasses, my ebook reader, and various personal items. It's easily worn cross-body, which makes it easier to carry while running around the parks, as well as more secure.

I'll try & dig up a picture of me wearing it, so you can get an idea of the size.

That bag looks like it would be a perfect bag to use on the Viva Italia trip next fall. I always have a large tote and purse to use for the airline, but I'm always in a quandry as to what to use for the day to day stuff.

If you could find a pic of the bag while you were using it, it really would be helpful. :thumbsup2

Hi! Your in for a magical treat! I've been twice on this tour and it's the best! The guides make it extra special. As far as dress...Disney casual. Character tees is a definite that people wear. The first night, maybe a little nicer on the casual side. We had jeans, nice blouse and casual shoes/sandals. Even capris/sandals. The last night, I have seen ultra dress up to ultra casual on both trips. I am going on number three next summer and plan on capris, sandals and a nice blouse for first and last dinners. In between, shorts, capris, character tees or tank tops. Whatever you want and comfortable is a definite. Especially walking as we do a ton of walking. Bring your best comfortable/walking tennies.

As for a purse. I like an over the shoulder Baggallini. It fits everything for me. I carry an iphone and a pocket camera along with extra batteries and everything else you need. It has plenty of zippered compartments and little slip compartments for your credit cards/id's. Very durable and comes in colors.

Enjoy yourself! Take in every little detail! And, have fun shopping at Imagineering! :)
