So sorry, I've been celebrating birthday fare and my FIL is still in town (until next Tues.), I've been missing in action for far to long, I apologize.

I'm here, I'm here! I have been thinking about my post I need to get up, still haven't been able to nail my husband down to help me with downloading my photos. How lame am I that I can't down load photos onto my computer Technically I can, but I have a way of deleting them without knowing why. I may have to do the post without pics. I know, I know, surely I jest. Considering I didn't take any while at the airport it's probably best any way. I'll get on it as soon as I have time to sit and write out my post.

I just loved your affairs post. And your pictures are lovely. I thought I took too few on this past trip, yet still came home with a thousand!

B -- Boneyard and if I'm not mistaken that's a picture Brook took. It was because of that post that I knew about it at all and it became one of Max's trip highlights!

I posted my answer before I realized you had done your update. I love your love affairs. Sometimes, I get so busy going commando,(not the underwear kind, boys) that I forget to see all the details. I'm going to go back and read the blog. I do love look for the HM's, but I don't want to follow a guide, i want to be surprised.

Sometimes, I wonder if going the "other commando" is a better way to do AK. Just sayin'. It gets awful hot in there!

I totally hear what you're saying about being surprised! It's quite exhilarating when you stumble across a HM without knowing about it!

2-ply is definitely a wonderful find, wherever that may be.

Great pics - I can see your artistic eye - way better than I do - I think I have about 20 pics of the black and white monkeys in the scaffolding there, and not much interesting theming at all.

Each letter has 2 parts. I meant "B" not "A"!!!! You gave one answer for B, but to be complete, it needs another word to go with it. So, Give me another B word associated with your first B word. Glad you got started with uploading, I know folks are anxious to hear about our riotous good time. I accidentally deleted some photos of my neighbors a few months ago, and was mortified!! Now I never want to borrow anything ever again! It's a setting you have on your "set up" somewhere I"m certain. Fiddle around with "download options" and make sure "delete after downloading" isn't clicked on.

I had way over a thousand, but only about 350 or so were worth squat. Ah, to have a bigger, better machine. (That sounds like the Million Dollar Man or something, doesn't it?)

There are 4 themed shops there, and it's so subtle most people just breeze on by. If it hadn't have been for my Imagineer's Guides, I'd have NEVER noticed it. The blog was a cool picto-tutorial to drive it all home. I had wanted to get shots of all 4, but somehow missed the boat. UGH!! Guess I need to get back for the remaining 3.

So cool to see the Heron! I'm not sure what stellars are, but I love baby birds. We watched a flamingo chick hatching for a long time at AK last trip - so amazing!

We gave Danielle the Hidden Mickey book before her birthday trip in 2009 but she has never really looked at it.

Great use of those short lines. That's the best kind of character interaction, when there's no line and the have time to spend with you.

Sometimes those guys are such wise guys, and so witty, it's hard to get a one-two punch on 'em. Good one!

Stellar Jays. The ones with a mohawk thingy on top of their heads. They are total pigs at the feeder, but so pretty!

I wish I had gotten WAY more detail photos! That was one of my trip tenets this time, and I sort of half way met my goal. Not that it was quantitative or anything, but I thought I'd come home wiht more.

I adore knowing about what the park makers intended. It really puts a whole new dimension into touring.

Just have her take her book next time, it's fun to whip out in a line and look for some just where you're at. Good for meals at resorts too!

I think the characters like to monopolize those times too so they aren't bored.
