ABCs of Trip Reporting, Pt. 2-Life Can Be Crappy and Then You Move On (3/7)

Is there a pre trip report for said ticker?

Not yet, but I'm glad to see how eager you are! :)

I figured I'd start one "around the holidays", which is nicely vague. I don't know if I meant Thanksgiving, Christmas, or......Easter. (Probably over Christmastime.)

All caught up (again) only because your life is sooo o busy, that its hard for you to keep up!:lmao:

L, looking forward to more.
Prayers that all will turn out for the best......

I'm another who is glad you've been a bit busy lately, as I have too, so catching back up wasn't too bad. Loved the latest Disneyland and Disneyworld updates. I feel for Mary, I clomped around DW in one of those boots following foot surgery a few years ago and it was not fun. Specially in the heat of the summer.

Let’s continue with rounding out our morning at the Most Magical of all Kingdoms. Recall, I had spent the wee hours of the morning checking us out of the Poly, sending out luggage over through bell services, and getting us checked into our new Southern-style home away from home. After meeting up with the other ladies, we had knocked off a bunch of stuff on the “left side of the park”, and now it was time to explore Lands of more Fantasy, and take a peer into the “Future”. Come along, and see what kinds of trouble we conjured up amongst ourselves…

Eventually, they took pity on us and let us out of the stockade,

What happens in Disney stays in Disney, right?

Hidden Mickeys, Anyone?

So cute!

I seriously considered devising a plan to sneak back in after the park closed to take one of these guys home and hold him hostage on my front lawn until Disney gave me a lifetime AP. Still wishing I had followed through….

That would have made an interesting TR!

While sipping libations and getting our feet wet in Tomorrowland, we ran into an old friend who was still talking trash. He was charming, funny, and famous- perfect life partner, if you ask me… well minus the handsome body, but hey, you can’t have everything.

Looks like you all tackled him! :rotfl2:

After chatting it up for a while with us, he spied a newlywed couple who were just as enamored.
Small world - I read their TR - seems he got sick at some point and they had to have a do over for their anniversary!

We stayed and laughed till our guts hurt for a while, then made off for a cruise around the upper level. And speaking of feet:

Cute!

So, there ya have it. A day in the park. It was magical in every way;

And I hope your day is simply magical as well. Until next time…

Another update worth waiting for! I've been reading back over your blog on my Nook during my breaks - I enjoy your writing so much
! to you my friend!

Here is some video from the ball on Saturday night... We had an amazing experience with live music, incredible dancing, and the most beautiful dresses and tuxes I have EVER seen.

Beautiful dresses Liesa! :thumbsup2 Wow, they must have been a lot of work!

We estimate about 100 hours of work and about $300 each. It was WELL worth it!

Yeah, that sorta defeats the purpose... unless Glenn is trying to get out of one altogether. :rolleyes1

Yeah, it's been there about a month or so. Actually, tomorrow I make the reservations for the Vero portion of the trip, so I hope that goes as planned.

I seldom use the word "gams", but it seemed appropriate in this case.

Hmmm....braid. And work some of those beads in too, that'd be cool. ;)

OH wow, Vero as well! Nice!! Double lucky ducky!

I always love your word choices.

And feathers too?? :confused3

It truly is these days! Only one week left of school- finals are next week! I truly hope life will settle into a more relaxed routine for a while--- at least until I have to take a VERY intense Chemistry class in spring term. This coming term is only one easy-peasy computer applications class. YAY!

yeah, lots going on in my personal life as well. I had no idea that when my kids got to the age for making life altering decisions it'd be so hard!

Glad you could find the thread easier to catch up on!! I hate having to take this hiatus, but life does have it's ebbs and flows. Lots of story yet to tell, so check back once in a while :)

I think in the end she was really glad she went with the wheelchair. It saved her a lot of tromping!!

Thanks, Tammie! I really hope to get back to my writing as soon as this term is up. I miss writing terribly... :guilty:

Great job on the dresses! Everyone looks great!

Why, thanks, Mark! Half the fun of the balls is getting ready for them!
