Correct, kind of. Western Sahara is recognized as a sovereign nation by some of the other countries in the world (about 55 of them) but not by others. Morocco claims it is part of them and not an independent country.

LBelle, you know I love you and you can't help that you've got a Canadian education, but, unless we're playing former countries of the world, then no, Yugoslavia is not a country. It ceased to exist in 2003 when part of it became Serbia and the other part became Montenegro.

The only Y country (now) is Yemen.
