Is ABC Commisary still around at HS? As crazy as it sounds, this is one of our must-dos at HS as we LOVE The Goldbergs and always love posing with the Goldbergs posters and seeing the TV show memorabilia. I know they switch the stuff around in there, but does anyone who has been recently happen to know if The Goldbergs are currently represented there?

All of my neighbors are on there - the Kremps, the Schwartzes, Matt Bradley, etc. Naked Rob is my BIL's cousin! The episode tomorrow will have the real Beverly and our neighbors sitting at the next table from their characters. The actual JTP will be on an upcoming episode too. The #1 question I get: is Bev really like that? No...she was worse! This is the toned-down, Disney-fied version of the real Bev 
And yes, Adam frequently had his camera out, especially when hanging with his BFF Chad (who was in ALL of my classes growing up).
That's so funny! It's very surreal to have your childhood on TV. I was Dana Caldwell (Caldwell is my maiden name), Adam's first girlfriend. In reality, that didn't happen. He barely talked to me when I would come over to swim in his pool! I guess it was because he liked me

Okay, this may be my favorite DisBoards post ever!!!! How amazing!!!! They sound just as fun as they seem on the show. What awesome memories! How funny that he wrote you in! Is that how you found out he liked you back then or were you already aware?
LOL...I’m honored to be your favorite post! So here’s how I found out: I found out from Jenkintown friends (my sis even still lives there) that the show was happening. I wrote Adam to congratulate him and he said something like “there may or may not be a Caldwell family starting in an early episode with a little blonde girl”. He asked my permission to use my last name but changed my first. Of course I approved! He did regret not using my first name (he even said that was his biggest regret in a Hollywood Reporter article because he used everyone else’s full name). I watched the episode and realized he had a crush on me. I couldn’t believe it! Neither could my husband and 2 kids
Bev saves EVERYTHING so many of the sweaters used in the episodes are the real ones from the 80s. She even found a few more boxes so there are plenty for upcoming episodes. The biggest changes from real life are that Erica is actually Eric (there are 3 boys), Murray was a physician (he has passed away), and their house. They lived in this gigantic castle like mansion with tennis courts and a pool. Guess that’s not relatable. But the decor was even worse than what’s in the show. Yikes!
Totally agree with all of this!The Goldbergs is such a gem of a show, it's a MUST for my kids...okay, we all gather round the TV! DH and I are 80s kids so, the trip down memory lane every week always makes us laugh. The cast is fantastic! There had been quite a drought of good TV for a long while until this aired.
