Aaargh....My ADR date is 10/14....1st day after new computer program!

Hi,

JUst venting....My 180 day mark is Oct 14th.....All systems for making ADR's will be closed 10/12- 10/14.....I expect 7 am to be very busy with people calling for ADR's and Castmembers learning a new system

Well....rumor has big change for DVC....we can now split up our stay.....ie....dxddp 1st 2 days...then regular or none..... I think that is a nice perk.....ya know rumors though

One thought would be to maybe try to do as much online as you can on those days. So long as the server doesn't crash, you'll be able to get to the reservations an hour earlier and won't have to sit on hold forever before checking on your reservations.

My ADR comes up Oct 15 as well. And we're trying to book a Princess Storybook (Akershus) breakfast for my daughter's fourth birthday which is tough anyway. This will be my first time booking ADRs myself (Spoiled - I know. Only ever had concierge do it for me before) but now we're DVC and the responsibility is ours. We're stayiong ten days so I was wondering about postponing until later in the trip instead of trying to get it specifically for the 14th, but then it's not on her actual birthday. Any sage advice from the seasoned veterans out there?

Not sure if this will work with the new system BUT I was able to get online at about 545am est to book my ADRs on my 180+10 days. I was able to get everything I wanted at the times I wanted! Its def worth a try!!! Good luck!!

Just remember, if no one else can get online, then everyone is holding at the same time. I got caught up in the last upgrade and it was a pain in the butt the first day. This sounds like a major upgrade. Just think of all of the folks who are in WDW those days that want to make dining ADRs and can't!!
