Aaa ?

When you call to book a room with a AAA discount, do you have to have a membership # or something to prove you are a AAA member, or do you just show it at check-in?

I made a AAA reservation last week. She asked me for my membership # when setting up the reservation.

We are staying at CSR 10/27 -10/31 on AAA discount. When I made the room only res. I was asked for my AAA # and was told I would have to show it upon check in.

I think this depends on what CM you get! When I made my reservation for a AAA discount, no one asked me for the membership number. When I called back days later to pay the deposit, they then asked me for the number and said it should have been taken down when I made the ressie.

I agree......it depends on which CM you talk to. Yesterday I called and asked if I could apply the AAA discount to my room reservation. I didn't even have a AAA membership yet. She asked me for my membership # and when I told her I didn't have it with me, she said to make sure I call back and give it to them. I went out right away to get my membership. I've noticed (from all the times I've called) some CM's are much more friendly. Those ones, at least for me, have been more helpful.
