AAA Storytelling Voucher

Has anyone gone to the Storytelling that AAA hosts? We got a voucher with our package and I've never heard of this before. You need to make a reservation to attend and it's hosted by a character. I'm hoping that someone can tell me if it's worth trying to fit into our schedule. Thanks!

I have made a couple calls this past week to inquire about making a reservation during our trip January 11-17th. I was told that they only offer the storytelling on Mondays and Thursdays at the VIP lounge at 5:10, 5:50, and 6:30PM. We have ADR's for dinner on both the days at 5:05 so we can't go. One day only had an opening for 3 people (we are a party of 4). The last call I made (the first clerk told me to try again later) the clerk asked me if I was on the premium, platinum or MYW plus dining. I replied MYW/dining and she said, "no, none available." The first time I called no one asked what plan I was on. I asked if they had any other times and they said no, just those 3. The second (and last) call I made, the woman was very snotty when she first answered the phone. When I dialed the number on the voucher, it picked up and said I had called the AAA storytelling reservations and to please wait a minute. She picked up and I said " Hello, I'd like to please check availability for Thursday January 12th, and Monday January 16th " and she said snidely, "FOR WHAAAAT?" I was really taken aback because the first call I made the guy that answered was so kind and knew right away what I had called about.

Hmm. It will be interesting to see how this rolls out as time goes by! We aren't going until August, and at this point I don't have MK slated for Monday OR Thursday afternoon. If I am going to change the schedule that storytime will have to be spectacular!

I wonder how many folks are allowed in for each session? When we stopped in the "lounge" for our free can of soda it didn't look very big, but maybe there is another room or something.

Can't wait to read some firsthand reviews!

There was another thread about this several weeks ago, and I think someone said it is 90 days.

We tried to make reservations for this and were not able to as both days during our visit were already fully booked. Sounds like they are giving out these vouchers and then not hosting enough sessions for the number of vouchers out there.
