AAA Safety Driving Course - On Line

Has anyone taken this course on line? We have taken it at a local hotel and now offering it at a local college. Just curious how the on-line course works. Time, how is the test given, etc.

DH and I took it online a couple years ago. The good part about it is that you don't have to take the whole thing at one time. I thnk we each took three sessions to complete it. There is a quiz after each section and you cannot continue in the course until you pass (not a perfect score) a particular section. Then there is a final quiz at the end. We received our "official" certificate in the mail a few days later.

The course took about three hours total. I liked it better because when I got tired I could stop until the next day. There were some things I learned that I had not heard before or had forgotten. I still find myself thinking back to the course in certain situations.

I would do it again online rather than a lecture-type course.

Yes, we get 10% discount.

My middle son really needs it too - he pays an arm and a leg for car insurance.

I think I might consider this - not sure if my son will or hubby. The AAA website does not say much - you have 30 days to stretch it out and when completed - you do get the certificate within 24 hours. I might have to call them.
