I just bought tickets through AAA and they gave me a parking ticket for the AAA lot. Where are they in the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT? We are going at Easter and I thought that driving might be faster than waiting for the resort buses with the large crowds.

From what I remember last year (we were using a friend's pass) the AAA parking was right behind the handicapped pass. It was really good, no need to take the trams. There are colored lines you follow for this 'VIP' parking.

As for my upcoming trip an AAA agent said I needed a package trip to get the pass, but when I bought hoppers at a different one they just gave me it w/o a problem.

I haven't personally used AAA parking, but I doubt that you'd save much time at all, if any, at the MK. You're still going to have to get on either the monorail or ferry to get there, and there will be a line for the monorail. A lot of times the boat will take everyone waiting for it, but unless your timing is perfect, that can be a long wait.

The parking is worth it. You are right with the handicap spaces. At MK you walk under a bridge and are right at the monorail lines. No tram, then monorail or boat. All the other parks are similiar. Right at the front. But, you probably have to do this in the morning, because it will fill up relatively quickly.
We had a package deal and received this pass. Not sure if you get it with just park tickets.

We purchased our park hoppers thru AAA last month without the package deal and received the parking passes.

We used the AAA parking at each park and it was great. (Got it with our 5 day hoppers.) The parking attendant tells you to follow a painted line in the parking lot that directs you to the front right by the handicap parking. That way you don't need to use the trams and you can enter and exit the park more quickly. Of course at MK you still have to use the monorail or ferry.

For our trip we requested to sit up front in the monorail and my DS8 thought that was way cool.

The ferry ride was nice and relaxing but we only used it once when exiting mid day when there was no need to beat the crowds.
