AAA Discounts

I have seen a few posts talking about AAA discounts. Does Universal have more opportunities to use our AAA membership for discounts than Disney? For instance, will they discount food in the parks? I saw a list of a few restaurants that would be discounted, but don't know enough about Universal in general.

Is there a list somewhere?

At Universal you can get AAA discounts on hotels. You also will get 10% off at most restaurants and shops in the parks. Just show your card everywhere.

Probably not but it doesn't hurt to show the card.

Islands dining room honors the ap for the 10% discount.
AAA is not honored there or should i say, it wasn't honored last october.

If it's anything like the annual pass, then yes you can get a discount. It's worth asking for.

Basically every restaurant in the parks gives the AAA discount. Most at City Walk do except the higher priced (Emerils and maybe one other). The shops in the park also give discounts. We asked a few years ago about the ride pictures and was told no but I would try since you never know if things change or you may hit a CM that doesn't know and give it to you.

i read a thread that said bubba gumps takes the ap not the aaa for discounts.

don't know of the validity of that as i haven't checked it out yet.

Bubba Gumps should offer a AAA discount now that they are owned by Landry's. All Landry's restaurants offer a AAA discount I believe.

I believe to, the new Landry's Select card should work at all their restaurants. Check their website to be sure.
