AAA discounts worth joining for?

We are concidering taking a trip next Sept with the kids. I was wondering if joining AAA is worth the cost to get the discount. Also can you book packages with them and if free dining is offered again can they also handle that.
Also does anyone know how to get rid of the ticker thing at the bottom. I would like that one gone and a new one added. I know how to add it but cant seem to figure out how to make it go away.

To Delete your ticker:

Click on User CP at the top on the left side of the screen. Then find the option for Edit Signature on the left side of the screen and go in there to delete the code.

AAA was worth it for me...they got me the package I wanted at WL for $800 less than Disney's website and they upgraded my MYW tickets free and they had a bunch of extras...storytelling, etc...
