AAA Discounts in Disneyland

Hi!

I was wondering where and what kind of discounts can you get at DL with a AAA membership. If the discounts are worth it I might get a membership.

Dining Savings at the park
Save 10 percent on food and beverage purchases and dine with Disney Characters at Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland® Hotel, Disney's PCH Grill at Disney's Paradise Pier® Hotel, or Plaza Inn in Disneyland® park. Also, save at Ariel's Grotto and Wine Country Trattoria in Disney's California AdventureTM park.

You probably already know this, but if you purchase tickets through AAA you also get free parking.

We used AAA and received a coupon book good for restaurants in Downtown Disney too. ESPN Zone, Rainforest Cafe, etc., in addition there were coupons good for $ off of a purchase. One was for Build-A-Bear, there were others too, I just can't remember. We also received 10% off at the DLH for our room.

They do discount room rates if you book a package, and yes, they give you a coupon book if you book a package through them. But you don't have to purchase anything to get the food discounts and you only need to buy tickets to get the free parking. And you can get discount room rates w/o a package.

They have a great website for Disney , basically the same as Disney but with extra perks and much cheaper. I have save much more then the membership and I can get road service if I need it too. Well worth the money.

Through CAA which is the same as AAA we do not have to book a package to get the discount. We can book room only and get a 20%discount. I would assume it is the same as it is all under one umbrella.
