Here's some info from a Mac post. Doesn't list specific restaurants, but is good info non the less. Mac rocks!
you get the same 10% discount on all food and merch in the parks.
for city walk 10% with the exception of bubba gump, emeril
hotel discount can be higher then ap at times. depends on the date you want.
aaa good for most hotels when traveling, resturants outside of theme parks,
car needs, amtrak tickets discount, target.com, and other stores on line with a 10% discount.......movie tickets bought on line....
it goes on and on.
it probably is a better deal than ap in the long run.
even if you only use it to shop on line for the discounts and the theme park, it more than covers the cost of it.
i used to use my ap for the parks when it was at a higher % off food and merch, since they dropped it down to 10% last year, i started using my aaa solely in the park.
only use the ap for the
hhn tickets this year.
the on site restaraunts give 10% off with the aaa card.
i have not come across any black out dates when using my AAA card for a discount for the onsite hotels. and in the past, it was always honored with the loews first program as a qualifying stay.
i had the aaa prior to going to universal.
it's a good card to have for road way emergencies and the free maps they give you for travel. they will outline the best routes for you, even though i still go back and use rand mcnally and mapquest.
i'll keep both cards.
the AAA gives me the most for my money and the APH makes me proud member of the darkside.....
