I don't have AAA, but it seems for the $48, it may be worth getting. Going to Disney in February, and it appears that you generally save 15% per night. So, with the price at $77 a night, I would save $92 plus tax, for the 8 nights.

Sound about right?

I joined AAA for the discount! It was VERY much worth it. Not only did I receive SUPERB service from my AAA TA, but as an AAA member you get discounts on the room (as you said), but we also received a discount card to use for things like purchases in some shops & restaurants in Downtown Disney as well as a parking pass for the parks (which we didn't use since we used their transportation). Good luck!

In the northeast, and I assume in other places as well, we also get discounts on movie tickets, car service, restaurant discounts and others. It is very easy to get the entire cost of the AAA membership back just by using the various discounts.
