thanks :surfweb:

I always make my reservation and usaly when I make the reservation they are not offering the discount yet so I'll call back until they give me a discount. So yes you can call back and see if they are offering a discount and if they have any available at the time your going. If not keep calling.
Good Luck!

I found one of your other posts stating you were booked at CBR from Dec. 30 - Jan. 6. I'm pretty sure you can't get the discount for the nights of Dec. 30, 31 and perhaps even the night of Jan. 1 since it's considered holiday season.

However, they might have AAA discounts for the remainder of your stay (Jan. 2-6) since they are considered value season. Also, if you booked a package including dining via Disney's website or by calling, you can't get both the dining plan and AAA discount that way. The only way to get both the AAA discount (if available) and the dining plan is to book through a AAA agency.

The AAA discount is subject to availability. The discounts range from 10-20% depending on the resort category and season. More info can be found here: http://www.mousesavers.com/disneyresorts.html#AAA

You might be able to split your reservation if the discount isn't available for the entire time.

Hope this helps! :wizard:

If you are a AAA member, do you get a discount on the Cruise?

I don't believe they have a standard set % off discount like the resorts, however, AAA agencies might run special promotions during the year where you get an onboard credit, cabin upgrade, special rate, etc. I don't think it is anything different than what you can get at other travel agencies.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong! :)

Hope this helps. :wizard:

Are you AAA room only or a package? If room only - you can get it anywhere (Disney CRO or AAA office) A package is only available via AAA travel. Modifications can be made (as available) to the reservation as new discounts/codes are known.
You can get a triple diamond card which is good for preferred parking at the parks if your driving and I think you can get a 10% discount at DTD World of Disney store(?) Don't quote me on that one.
Someone mentioned you're going Dec 30 - Jan 6? To get the different rates you would have to book split stays - one at holiday rate, one at the other. The rate your first night is booked at is the rate for the rest of the stay regardless of the calendar.

I just called AAA to see if it would be worthwhile to get a membership and book thru them. There quote was basically the same as if I did it thru Disney site for Sept.27 - Oct.3 07' for the Contemporary Garden Wing.

Is this normal...I hear so much about AAA discounts, but there doesn't seem to be one?

Any help? :confused3

Maybe they havent realize AAA rooms for that time period. I would call and ask again and ask if it is discounted.

I just got off the phone w/ Disney, and tried to check on a few different codes for my existing ressie, and nothing worked. But also she told me that since I had the dining package I could not use my AAA discount.

Call a AAA agent they can book the package with dinning.. ( you have to purchase a one day base ticket per person)

I got my AAA quote today (package with tickets and dining) and I saved almost $200.00 for our 4 day trip In Feb. 2007 vs. what Disney quoted me.
