That is great!!!! I already have mine, but if I didn't, I would definitely go this route!!!

Thanks for the info.

Can any AAA(or caa in my case) member buy these. I want the AP this year but for the life of me cannot find the website that is selling them. Thanks.

:( Okay i know im splitting hairs,I bought my ap thru aaa south today expecting the cost to be 124.95,I was expecting the discount to be at the end of check out ,I was charged 129.95 a ticket plus tax,Called aaa and talked to what must have been a bad day ,or she was hung over from halloween,cs rep whom did not know how to talk to a customer nor did she know how to navigate there own site,1-877-222-8583,The 15.0 dollars was really not what pissed me off ,it was her indeference to me that managed to get me hot under the collar,After she told me it was a typo and it was my problem, not aaa.Wrong answer !!!!!!!!!!She might has well told me to slap my mother!!!!!Then after she informed me it was a typo ,i asked her that didnt she think she/aaa needed to correct the posting on there site and maybe recall 1 million aaa south going places mags that this price is on??????What do i know i'm some country bumpkin in south Georgia who doesnt know any better..... Wrong once again young lady.........She would have rather kissed a pole cat in a phone booth than get me hot under the collar.......,Maybe she didnt think i could call back? maybe i didnt catch her name? or maybe she thought i was so dumb i didnt know how to get the chairman of the boards phone number.....I mean where do you think they all come quail hunting and deer hunting....On there plantations in SOUTH GEORGIA......Maybe it is just 15.0 dollars but you dont treat customers with indifference and a bad attitude.Morale of the story treat each customer if they were kings and queens,They may not be allways rite,But you dont talk ugly to no one........ man or woman child ,or beast.......You never know who they know...........jmho/vent

okay now that i have vented let me give you a follow up ,I have since spoken to a supervisor with aaa ,and she did indeed agree with me that there site had a problem with the correct prices...She also was able to access the young lady to whom i spoke with and was able to confirm that yes i had spoken to her, computers are wonderfull story tellers ....Even if others are not qute as truthfull.I was also assured that the 15.0 dollars would be credited and that i will also be getting a call from there office as a follow up on the actions taken to make sure that poor customer service doent happen again to myself or others....This is why aaa is still in bussiness after all these years..Most of them know how to talk with there customers. I'm happy now:teeth:

No luck for me. Even though I am a CAA member they will not let me purchase a ticket. Oh well, it was worth a shot.

Check out www.aaasouth.com they have changed their on line price to 129.95 a ticket:mad: Good thing i printed out there web site yesterday.....Wondering just where is my phone call???? And my credit for there overcharge....I will give them untill tommorrow to call ...If i dont hear from them (can you hear the theme from jaws in the back ground)Believe me i could have driven to the aaa office for allott less gas than the 30 .0 dollars its costing me to do it on line....I thought it was cheaper to do bussiness online than in person......E-commerece?????????

 Have recieved my phone call@4.20 p.m.e.s.t ....Dave from aaa/universal ticket office 1 877-222-8583,Well he was not very helpfull, once again i was given the ole typo story ,it was a aaasouth screwup not theres........mmmmmmm,Okay its only 15.0 dollars.Iknow im saveing allott of money but is this really the point???Why doesnt someone step up to the plate and admit they we will do whats right........They also suggested i call aaasouth...Jeeezzzz do ya think i will????????and the saga continues...Will i get my 15.00 dollars back or will they soon forget me...You decide,Should i give up and take a whipping like a man or should i press this as far as i can....let me know its up to you!!!!!!!!

I say, keep working at it. Can't let a company get away with treating their customers like this. I, for one, wouldn't want a customer to leave the company with negative views and hurt future potential customers. They need to straighten up their act...even if it is just measily typos...and someone needs to let them know.

Good luck!!

:) Bye the way the exc. office #For AAA soth Coustomer Service V.P. John Imming Is 1-813-289-1467 if any of you have ran into the same problem as I!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No problem. :) Similar situation for me, but completely different:

I used to make a website about 3 or 4 years ago with a company called Homestead (I'm sure you've heard of it). Well, the people who were members before they started charging for their service gave a wonderful discount on the annual cost. The following year, without warning they subtracted $70 instead of the $35 the cost was for the previous year. Well, they never informed us they would be taking out the next year's pay (not chance to cancel, in other words) and my dad called up and complained. He ended up cancelling but never got the money back. They wouldn't let him.
I recently talked to someone else online (someone from IOACentral in fact) who had the exact same problem...only HE got his money back. Maybe if my dad was more persistant we would have gotten back our money.

Then again, he did argue for a couple hours without any luck.

I had a point...um...just keep trying because I'm upset we allowed Homestead to get away with this. Of course our problem was different, the customer service aspect is the same. They were rude and didn't listen to our feelings and situation. Now, my dad won't give Homestead another chance and would always speak badly of them to anyone who asks. "Customer Service is key!" I wonder why some companies do not realize this...

Claire if you figure that one out let me know...... The dollar amount is not my point, its the customer service is what im gripeing about....Yes at 129.95 i am getting a heck of a bargin ,But that is not what the ad said,2 the ad ran for i know over a month@ 124.95 on line,All im asking is credit the ones who got shafted the extra 5 bucks,at least untill they corrected there website, surley they have the tech support to figure that one out...opr maybe they need us to run there system;) lol they couldnt handle it!!!!! I was named nerd of the month back in the 70'S,i wasunning systems on tapes before they were wearing diapers...... my first computer was a timex sinclair 2000..... This was way before windows....:wave2:

with your credit card? If you have a copy showing the price they were supposed to charge.

I agree with you, it is not the $5, it is the principal of the matter and being treated badly.
