AAA discount for December

Hi all-

Just signed up for AAA and I'm looking to go to WDW the second week in December. Do the discounted rates run out? Do I need to make a reservation soon? (thinking about Port Orleans or another moderate resort)

Also, I've seen others mention different kinds of discounts. If I make a reservation with AAA and something else better is posted, will it be a hassle to change my reservation?

Any help would be appreciated.

I booked my room at the GF and saved about 50 bucks a night using AAA when I went to book another room for my mother and grandma there were no AAA rooms left and so far had to book it at rack rate. This was also for December so it really doesn't hurt to book it ASAP, you can always cancel.

Also, I haven't done it yet but from what I've read on these boards it's not a prob to change from one rate to another.

we got the AAA rate at CR standard wing AAA rate was $203, rack rate was $244.
i booked this about 2 mths ago...so not sure if they fill up or run out
