This is the first time being at WDW with a AAA Diamond Parking Pass. We're staying at the Dolphin and driving to each park. It is the greatest perk available. We parked in front of Epoct and parked right up front and had a very short walk to the gates. We left EPOCT and went to MGM and parked right up front by the gate

No hassle with the buss, boats or trams, we left a packed house from Fantasmic and from the gate to Dolphin was about 5 minutes. AK today and I love the flexability of the AAA parking. "Sir, just follow the green line (EPCOT) blue line (MGM)"

Hurray for E-Bay!

That parking pass sounds great. How do you get one? Do you need a special type of AAA membership?

**UPDATE** Animal Kingdom parking is great as well. Just to the right of the entrance, extremely short walk!

We used this in October 2005 and it was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

I agree, the pass can be a helpful perk. But for MK I still find it much easier to take the bus and bypass the monorail/boat (and you do so much extra walking to get to that point since no trams come to that part of the parking lot). Also, we stayed at BWV in December, and found it easier to walk to Epcot and MGM rather than try to drive (especially to the front of Epcot!). But it sounds like a YMMV situation.

It is good for every park except the Mk TTC lot. It's way off to the side there and there's no tram stop. So you actually have to walk past the tram stop, under the bridge, and all the way to the lot. It's less trouble just to take the tram from the regular lot or just take Disney transportation from your hotel.

I believe you get the parking passes when you book your vacation through AAA.

I noticed in the fine print in the AAA brochure that "blackout dates" apply.

Can anyone tell me what this translates into? What days/dates?

Thanks.
