I'm from Northern California and we are not able to get a AAA Diamond parking pass. Would anyone be so kind as to help me obtain one for our big trip this August 2007? Thanks. Buzbon

If you transfer your WDW vacation package to your AAA agent they will happily send you a pass. They are really good about that.

Have a great trip!

I first booked my trip through disney for the free dining and want to make sure I got a room. Then the next day went to AAA and they cancelled the other resevation and made a new one just make sure you have your conformation number. I also did it for the aaa perfered parking

 My interest is piqued...what is the AAA Diamond parking pass and what are the benefits of having one at WDW?

It allows you upfront parking (usually next to Disabled Parking) at the 4 major resorts. It doesn't discount for you any parking fees you may owe if you're not a resort guest, but in order to get the pass you have to book a WDW package at one of the Disney World Resorts through AAA, so that point is moot.

There's a limited number of the AAA spaces. Some people don't care for the lot because they can end up walking further. The spaces are so close to the park entrances, they are not served by trams. We don't mind walking vs walking to and waiting for a tram, so it's worth it to us.

Sometimes people ask to have or borrow passes other members have received through AAA and may not be using. I think they were passed around more often before it was discovered that some people were getting the passes and selling them on Ebay. Not saying that this gentleman is doing that, but it's been happening more frequently. The passes are free, but you do have to book through AAA to get them. If you won't be using your car or a rental car at WDW, then you won't get any use from it anyway.

:)

just like ExPirateShopGirl said . Plus it is great to park there if you have kids with strollers so you don't have to load them up on the trams. what a pain it the neck that is. I rather walk from AAA parking lot then take the tram

Okay, that answers my question. For us, we wouldn't have any use for the pass because my husband is disabled and we have handicapped parking anyway. Plus that allows us free valet at the resorts too. The AAA pass is good to know about though for when I escape to Disney for a girls week without my hubby. Thanks for the info. :goodvibes
