I was able to get a code from the St Louis branch today as well which I used today to buy tickets. You could call that branch as well and see if they will give you a code? I am a member of that branch and she did look it up. It couldnt hurt to ask. Do you know of anyone who is a memeber of that branch that could call on your behalf and get a code for you. Maybe someone on here is a member of that branch who is not going to Universal this time and can call for you. Sending good thoughts your way. ::yes::

Thanks for the info. Are there any St. Louis AAA members out there who might be able to get me a code? This promo isn't offered in my area. Thanks a bunch.

Is this available to any new AAA member? If so it might be worth signing up, maybe i will call the AAA office near me tomorrow.. I need tickets still for our vacation. I am in NIagara Falls, ny

I think you are thinking of the Buy One Year Get One Free Burger King Deal. This is Buy and 2 day pass with a third day free (3 day pass) get one free through AAA. My paper shows it expires 9/20/04.

Edited to changed expiration date.

The tickets dont have to be used by 7/30 right? You just had to buy them by that date right?

I bought mine yesturday when I was given the code over the phone but I didnt ask her to read it all to me. We are not going until November-Hope I didnt just mess up big time.

No, the tickets never expire but all three days must be used within 7 days of the first days use.

No, it is 1-800-222-7623. Just remember that she will ask for your card number to verify that you are a new member...
OK - here's what I found:

I kept calling the number but I think I was catching them after hours and during lunch because I kept getting a voicemail message (forgot about the time difference - duh). I called this morning and hit #4, then #1 on their automated system. On that last one, there was no listing for the theme park tickets I wanted to find out about so I just hung on (without punching a number) until the Operator came on. I told her I wanted to talk with someone regarding theme park tickets.

I was put through and I asked the travel specialist if I could get a code number for the Orlando Universal Studios AAA special tickets. She said 'yes'. I asked if the promotion was only for certain AAA members and she said 'no'. She said she would be happy to send me a flyer with a code number on it.

She asked for my AAA membership number and I gave it to her. I could hear her putting the number in while I was giving it to her and I guess her computer came up with all of my membership information. She verified my address from that and said the flyer with the code would go out in the mail today.

I AM SO, SO EXCITED!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH, Tarmand!!

You are very welcome! I know that code saved us a lot. My husband and I bought APs, but we needed tickets for my father and nephew. Since we are only going to be there for 3 days, it worked out perfectly.

mtblujeans,
Do you have to be a new AAA member? From a certain area? I am not a new member but my parents have to renew their membership in July and was wondering if they could get it for me.

I asked if the offer was limited to certain AAA members and she said 'no'. We have been members for a couple of years now. She read my name & mailing address back to me.....I am in Montana. She said my flyer would go out in the mail today. I thought it was interesting that my info came up when she put in my number because I don't think the regional offices have the ability to look someone up outside of their region. Maybe this is a national office? She was very pleasant and helpful. My own regional office in Helena would not help me find out info about the offer. I was getting discouraged....but, persistence pays! ::yes:: I also would not have been able to get the offer if Tarmand had not been so kind as to provide the help!! :wave2:

I would not wait until July....call now, if you can.

mtblujeans & tarmand,

I've been trying to follow this thread, but as usual, I'm alittle slow in understanding if I might qualify for this AAA deal. Mind if I ask you two a few more questions?!

My husband is a AAA member, I bought him the membership last Christmas so I don't think we're considered "new" members. Do I follow that even existing members could qualify to get this flyer with the code on it?

Our region is the Eastern region, if I call the number (1-800-222-7623), what regional office will I be talking to? Will it be ok that DH isn't a member of that region?

The deal is buy a 2 day 2 park pass (with 3rd day free) & get a second pass for free. The cost would be $106.45 total for the 2 passes (plus shipping)?

The tickets need to be purchased by 7/31/04 but can be used anytime?

If you think this offer might be available to me, I'll be on the phone for sure during my lunch break tomorrow! I'm trying to sell DH on a Veteran's Day weekend @ US/IOA & getting these passes would put me one step closer. :p

Thanks for any help you can give me concerning this offer.:sunny:

Thanks so much for this info mtbluejeans and tarmand! I will try calling first thing in the morning. I need 2 more, so I will try and have one sent to me, and then have my friend we are traveling with also call (she also has AAA). I'm thinking the phone # is probably in my time zone, so I will try about 9. Hopefully I get the same nice person you did! :D

Yes, GeminiMom, I think that is it. I have not received the flyer yet so all of that is my understanding. :sunny:

It can't hurt to try. All they can say is no. Yes, if you get the coupon, your total will be $106.45 for two passes - there is no shipping if you pick them up at the park otherwise you pay $11.

I am not having the same luck as mtbluejeans. I called the same number and a very nice man had no idea who to connect me to. He gave me 3 different #'s to try- so far nobody has any idea! I'll try again later, I've already put 30 min. into this and I'm getting frustrated!

Success! Being a member of AAA Southern New England and not a "new member" was able to get a code and direct website address from a very nice woman in membership services over the phone. Purchased my tix online for August a few minutes ago. From what it looks like, each code expires after one use and is unable to be shared. Also, you need your AAA card # in hand when purchasing. I think calling the regional office instead of a branch office was the difference. Keep trying! Good luck to all!

Merci beaucoup (thank you) to Luminere for bringing the discount to our attention!

:jumping1: Yea! Thank you tarmand & Mtblujeans!!! I dialed the number you gave us, 1-800-222-7623 hit #4, then #1 waited for the operator, asked for Theme park tickets and was transferred to a very nice lady named MaryAnne!! ::yes:: At first she said that she just gave out her last two and I panicked! :worried: But she took my name and number and said she'd check to see if they had anymore in the warehouse and would call me back. She called back within 5 minutes!!!:cheer2: She took my AAA number and said she'd mail them out to me today. Wow! So nice. ::yes:: Lots of Pixie Dust to my fellow DISners', hurry and call before they are all gone. :goodvibes Try again DisneyFreak43!

Yes!!! I just tried again and also got Maryanne. We are all set now, my friend also got through. Now I have to decide if we will do the "will call" or pay the $11 for shipping this time. Anyone out there recieve their tickets yet, or is it a voucher they send?
