Are you wondering the same thing I was wondering when I was standing at the desk? Why give me a confirmation number if it is worthless? What good is the number if I can't use it for anything? Do they just like making people write down a 9 digit number for fun?

And I opted for the BIG Kahuna.

It wasn't long before we were walking through the gates and onto Main St. Melody stopped in the Emporium because we received a 20% coupon on our receipt and she had a few items in mind. I took Juliana outside for a few minutes and we met a Councilman.

Juliana was just a little excited.

Can you believe that she didn't even share one with me?

Now, that is really strange. We always print out our confirmation numbers (and they usually give us a set at the CSR when we check in as well). What is the point of them if they can't check them?

IF we get to Disney in September, we are definitely doing Kona and I can guarantee Mark will be doing the Big Kahuna.

I love these photos of Ana; she really does take after her mom (thank goodness), and you can see the excitement in the last two. Sorry, Tim, I wouldn't share my Mickey lollipop with you either.

We exited the princesses and the CM asked us if we wanted to see the fairies. Of course!!!! We went through a back hallway and were at the front of the fairies line. We had a great photopass photographer who followed us the entire time and was snapping away.

You can see how I have to carry my camera, video camera, and backpack. LOL

First up was Terrance. Juliana was scared of him last time but this Terrance was awesome! He was making jokes and Juliana felt very comfortable with him.

Here Terrance and Juliana were showing each other how they flew...

Mel & I felt left out from the princesses so we got in a few pictures too.

Tinkerbell was admiring Juliana's dress and was watching her with Terrance. Once our family picture was done she came over and grabbed Juliana.

Even Tinkerbell LOVED Juliana's dress and they talked about it for a few minutes.

Juliana had to get Tinkerbell's autograph.

Tinkerbell was great with Juliana.

Lastly, Vidia. Vidia was getting tired of Tinkerbell having all the fun with Juliana so she walked over and 'stole' Juliana from Tink.

Now according to Disney's website Vidia's personality traits are...
Passive-aggressive, arrogant, and not very friendly. HA! Besides having a little attitude toward Tink she was soooooo friendly towards Ana.

They talked for a few minutes too.

When Melody & I asked to get in a picture she huffed and puffed but gave in without too much of a fight. LOL

We had a great time meeting the princesses and the fairies and it was one of the highlights of our trip.

So many of you wanted to know what Melody bought in the Emporium.....I was trying to not talk to much about our shopping excursion- trying to keep my MAN 'cred'.... but you have broke me! LOL

While I took Juliana outside of the Emporium, Melody was inside picking out a few items to buy. She found a few Christmas ornaments, a long sleeve shirt, and a Disney bag. Juliana ended up picking out a multi colored Christmas Mickey bracelet that she used the money that Liesa gave her. BUT the big purchase was made by yours truly! Melody had all her items picked out and Juliana REALLY had to go to the bathroom. I told her I would check out while she took Juliana to the bathroom. Once she left I walked over to the Disney purses and thought this would be a great Christmas gift for Melody. I wasn't loving the price too much but holding that 20% off coupon that was on the bottom of my receipt from Cosmic Rays made it a little easier on my wallet. I asked the CM to wrap the purse first and separately from the other items. Melody returned a few minutes later while I was paying. I had our purchase sent to City Hall to be picked up when we left MK. Here is a picture of the purse I bought her:

So there you have it.. that's the extent of my shopping story at this time... now back to the TR......

AND????? What did Mel think of her gift? I love those bags...I have the smaller one.


So, we were in ToonTown sitting on the benches at the exit of the princesses, when a CM came over and checked Juliana's GAC then lead us to see the princesses. We walked in and Juliana's favorite princess was first- CINDERELLA!

Even though Cinderella's eyes are closed, this picture is priceless.

Next was Belle...

For some reason Juliana's meeting with Belle was very short. I'm not sure what was going on. I didn't get many pictures and there was only a few on our photopass cd too. Oh well.

Next was Aurora. She just LOVED Juliana's dress too! She has to check out the entire dress!

She was very nice to Juliana and they had a nice conversation.

Somehow I missed this sequence in my first response (my comments are in red).

How sweet that the princesses admired Ana's dress (they were probably all jealous). I'm so glad she got to see the princesses and fairies.

Breakfast at Kona looked DELICIOUS!!! Why can't things simply go smoothly though, what is the point of a ressie. conf ...sounds like answers WE get!

We love Kona. I have no idea what was going on that morning.

That councilman was tall! He made Juliana look so tiny.

She does look very tiny next to him.

I LOVED the sweet interaction with the Princesses and Juliana...she is precious and that dress...I LOVED IT!! I am glad you and Melody joined in the fun with the fairies those were great photos, your girls are so beautiful.

Tim, I must say, I am very impressed with your shopping skills and the surprise...I think it gives you MORE Man Cred...especially among the ladies.... Melody must have been thrilled, I hope you got that on tape/film!

I don't think I have Melody opening her gift recorded. I haven't watched the tape of Christmas morning yet.

Anyway, wonderful pictures of the princesses and fairies meets! You can really tell Juliana was loving it, her face is beaming!!!

Juliana had a great experience with them... too bad Toontown is going away. I wonder where they will be located in the time being.

Also, very nice work on the Christmas gift. You can keep your man card because you only posted a stock photo. Not the actual bag front, back, inside and Mel holding it on each shoulder and also at her side.

LOL... I'll have to get a few pics of her sporting her purse.

I have been lurking along catching up on your trip report, and was so excited to see that Juliana was able to wear her princess dress to meet Cinderella in. She looks so cute in it, so glad it fit and she got to wear it!!

Ellen.... everybody LOVED the dress. In the next few updates you will hear more about this.

I wish we were able to see the stepsisters but they were nowhere to be found.

Your trip sounds amazing. We were there around the same time and there were a couple of really cold days, but the sun was out and we too were able to have a good time.

I was hoping we would bump into each other..

OK, so the pictures of Juliana with the princesses and the fairies brought some tears to my eyes. I am so glad that they were really wonderful to her and must have made her feel so super special. What an amazing experience. And you got beautiful pictures, too!

I think all of the fairies pictures were from our photopass CD. They did a great job capturing each moment.

Great updates!! I the purse-since I have the same one. BUT my MIL bought it as she does all my purses and jewels-since her son has NO CLUE..

Great choice!!!! awwwww your poor DH. At least your MIL is on the ball!
