I saw you post on the DDC after I was done responding. Glad you are having a great time! :yay:

Relaxing?? Hmmm...

On Saturday night, I took my older girls to see "3 Divas" singing Broadway tunes with the full monte orchestra!! It was flipping amazing!! The whole evening was one of the highlights of my entire year!!

THEN- yesterday, also, we got a DOG!! Gigantic Davey joined our family in all his hairy glory. But he is very personable and friendly, and Mikki loves him. Which really is what matters.

Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend!

Oh man... a dog? Have fun with that!:lmao: Better than a cat IMO!!!:rotfl:

I worked all day yesterday then today we saw a Broadway version of 'The Wizard of Oz' in Hartford, which was excellent! My mom bought us tickets for Christmas then we hit up P.F. Chang's for dinner. MMMMM

It was eventful, if nothing else.

And yes, better than cats- we have too many asthmatic allergies with cats. So we target practice with them. Our neighborhood has WAY too many ferral versions!

Wicked is WAY high on my list. Was it "Wicked" that you saw?? Or Wizard of Oz?

We ended up with the most AMAZING Indian last night!! OMG, it was fabulous- the kind that has flavors to knock your socks off, and is almost too spicy to eat. YUM!

LOL I dislike cats.... and I will leave it at that.

No it wasn't but Wicked is on our list to see in NYC. Mel & I keep saying we NEED to get to the city to see it. We saw The Wizard of OZ... it was a touring version shown in Hartford at the Bushnell Theatre.

Sounds like that would be something I'd like to eat. I love when my mouth is on fire as long as there are good flavors to go along with that heat! :firefight

you definately need to see Wicked....we saw it twice in San Francisco last year....yes twice, its that wonderful!!!!

Wow... you are all over the place. First you comfort me, then you bash me, then you try to change the focus from me to Juliana. I see how it is now. :headache::headache:
Now Tim, you know Molly is an  or at least she keeps trying to convince me of that! It's not like she goes around to multiple threads on the DIS acting that way...... :rotfl:
Man, I'm taking a beating here today. :snooty:
Welcome to the club!!! :lmao:
Morning again Tim !!! Just checking in on another FRIGID day !!!!!
You women and your female problems...... :rolleyes1

I just wanted to say that the picture of the Castle is AMAZING!!! I have never seen it like that....

I LOVE the photopass pics... Did you get all your Photopass pics on one CD? If you don't mind me asking was the price reasonable? We are trying to figure out if we want to do that... I think that we most likely will... ;)

Hey - do I get bonus points for reading and responding to this while in my room at SSR?!?! Oh wait, the whole bonus points thing was Mark's TR... rats.

Absolutely worth a bonus point! +1 :thumbsup2

I'm sure Mark will stop by to give you a useless +1

Useless? Useless??!! These points are very valuable, and good at all locations selling official Captain_Oblivious merchandise.

:cool1: I was in one of those stores just yesterday! I tried to use my C_O points and they ended up giving me more of them instead, just for taking some of that ju.., uh merchandise off of their hands....... :rolleyes1

Did you get to see it on your trip?????

Hmmmm, I guess you will have to keep reading my TR!! ;)

Wicked is amazing!!! DH and I saw it in NYC and it's just incredible! :thumbsup2 You should definitely see it in NYC, put it at the top of your list!

If Tim doesn't mind me jumping in here . . . you will get a Photopass card (like a credit card) at GKTW orientation and you will get the CD for FREE when you get home!!!! Plus free shipping, all photopass pics will be on one CD (well we had about 170 or so and they were on one for us). I'm pretty sure it normally costs $149 for the CD. Definitely get as many pics taken as you can!!!

Figures... :sad2: They probably had my stuff next to the "AFC Champion NY Jets" and "NFC Champion Chicago Bears" t-shirts again.

I'd give you some more points, but it sounds like you have more than you need already!

you definately need to see Wicked....we saw it twice in San Francisco last year....yes twice, its that wonderful!!!!
Is it appropriate for a 4... geez almost 5 year old? I'm wondering if it would be too much for her. :confused3

Now Tim, you know Molly is an  or at least she keeps trying to convince me of that! It's not like she goes around to multiple threads on the DIS acting that way...... :rotfl:
Of course she is an angel... :rolleyes1 popcorn::

No, she would never do that!

I just wanted to say that the picture of the Castle is AMAZING!!! I have never seen it like that....
Thank you! It was awesome!!!!

I've been waiting to cash in my points for some swag but there doesn't seem to be any locations here in the North East. I hope these points don't expire. :headache:

Wow... the Carolina's must be special... I can't find one of those store for MILES!

Hmmmm, I guess you will have to keep reading my TR!! ;)
LOL Good answer! :lmao:

I will... and will ask you the same question. Is it a good show for a 4-5 year old? Or is it too intense? :confused3

We ended up with two CDs. We had 475 pictures after adding boarders and such. Don't worry, I won't post them all on this TR. LOL

Figures... :sad2: They probably had my stuff next to the "AFC Champion NY Jets" and "NFC Champion Chicago Bears" t-shirts again.
:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Don't forget about the Eagles gear. :lmao::lmao:

LOL... We can turn your complex into the posh POP.

I am a mobile DJ for weddings, schools, parties, corporate, etc...

Melody always says 'Let's move to Florida' I always come back with 'It will be easier for you to find a job' or 'I would DIE in Florida in the summer.'

Ha-ha, an offsite POP complex would be awesome! You can easily find work too. Seriously if you could work a few weddings for some of the Dis board brides, they'd be singing your praises and you'd start getting booked. Since most of the brides are out of state they rely strongly on the reviews. As for the heat, you really do get used to it.

Was this research conducted on the DIS or was it first hand? I hope it was first hand! ::yes::

Thanks for all the great info!! :goodvibes:goodvibes'

Of course I conducted this first hand. I braved the foreign tour groups and chilly temps on Saturday to check it out - it was in the 40's. :rotfl: But seriously, it was cold out there. And packed! :scared1: Main Street was ridiculous and they even had the backstage exit going because you couldn't walk down Main Street. You would've sworn they were giving out stuff for free.
You are very welcome. It's the least I can do and I'm always up for a reason to go to the park.

Tim,

Wicked has a few places where it gets intense and pretty loud, my friends took her 6 year old (who is pretty fearless) and she LOVED it!!!
the music is wonderful, you could get the CD so Ana could learn the songs!!

Tim, I think you have met your match! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

:pYup!

LOL... I guess you can say she 'gently' nudges. :rolleyes1

Hurray for you only being 6 days away!!!! :woohoo::woohoo:

It is gentle, right Kathy?:)

Now it's only 5 days away!:woohoo: I can hardly wait but I need to stop looking at the weather, it keeps changing everyday and it's melting my brain.:sad2:

Now Tim, you know Molly is an  or at least she keeps trying to convince me of that! It's not like she goes around to multiple threads on the DIS acting that way...... :rotfl:

Well, the 1st part of what you said is true Marv:thumbsup2. Now the 2nd part, well frankly it's not very flattering.:headache: Where is this coming from?

Of course she is an angel... :rolleyes1 popcorn::

No, she would never do that!

Thanks Tim.:goodvibes At least you believe me:angel:. I don't know what Marv's problem is.:confused3:laughing:

Molly, I can't believe you are only five days away. I feel you will have perfect weather (at least I am praying for it for you).

Molly, VERY gentle. :rolleyes1
And I know you are an angel--just like me.
