I completely understand that anticipation and excitement as you get to the MK! I feel it every time we get there, not just the first day of the trip!

The photopass pics turned out good. I really like the one of you guys as you were headed to Cosmic Rays.

It is always fun meeting someone from the DIS!

Oh, I am dying to see the Castle lighting in person! Some day!

I wasn't aware that Disney MADE their own fireworks... One of my trivia books says that they are the 2nd largest purchaser of explosives/fireworks in the country (may have even been world) after the US military. Making them as well, would be truly exceptional.

At least that's what I was told by a person I know pretty well that is working at Disney.

They may have purchased them in the past but I'm guessing in their efforts to save money, they opted to start making the fireworks themselves.

I've seen a lot of threads devoted to "What's your Dream CM Job". Mine was always being on the pyro team!!! Yeah, baby!!! I always wanted to be the one who got to do the "burn" after Illuminations. However, I might throw in my personal opinion and "accidentally" take care of the "ball".

LOVE the Photopass pictures. I agree with Kathy that Juliana looks just like Mel in that one especially! The pic of her with the apples in her mouth made me LOL!!!

Isn't that Castle lighting show amazing?! I had tears in my eyes when I saw it for the first time. The two times I've seen the Castle lights I had the same experience you did-we just stood around staring at it. It's breathtaking.

I used to watch Mythbusters all the time but I think I got tired of it.

You are so right the castle lights are breathtaking and while your pictures are great nothing beat seeing it in person.


As for the new castle show, I hope it is the jump start to Wishes. It is amazng to see the castle transformed like that but nothing beats fireworks.

As for CM dream job, I want to be a ride operator, I am not sure which ride though.

When he was about 10 my, now 21 year old, wanted to work as the ride operator for the Great Movie Ride and then go sell toys. He stuck with that for years. We tried to talk him into signing up for the college program. So far he hasn't taken us up on that. I still have two more left to brainwa....I mean....convince to do that.

You can move down too. My apartment complex is running Move In specials. Everyone should move down, then we could all live the tough life. Just think how much easier it'll be for Dismeets.
