A WISH for Cold Tea? Ana's aMAWzing Disney Trip! 12/1-12/7 ~Last Entry~ p.127

LOVE ALL THE UPDATES!!!! I can not quote everyone of them but I did read them all.... :thumbsup2 they are getting us more excited for our trip coming up.... :dance3:

We got about 16 inches of snow from that storm.... The kids had a BLAST :banana:!!!

We are trying to decide what parks to do on which days.... It is hard to try to fit it all in :confused3... We are thinking AK is a half day thing for us but then we are trying to decide if HS is also a half day..... :confused3

I am going to try to put up a tentative itinerary tonight.... let me know what you think :thumbsup2

We will see what Tuesday has in store, they are saying that it could be snow to sleep to freezing rain. JOY! :sad2:

I'm trying to get this TR moving and the package I received in the mail will help... our PHOTOPASS CD came today!!!!!!!! :yay::woohoo::yay::woohoo:

We are expecting to get that snow/sleet/freezing rain as well. Ick. We didn't get anywhere near as much snow as you did though. Only about 4-6 inches here.

How exciting you got your Photopass CD!!!! :woohoo: When did you order it? I ordered mine last week, so I'm waiting . . . . :rolleyes1

Loved the videos. I wish I had somewhere like that to have gone sledding when I grew up. The kids in my area went to the local park but they weren't bright. They would turn the hill that faced traffic into their 'sled hill'. I swear it must've been a miracle that no one ever sled out onto the street and into traffic.

I know I sound like a broken record but she really is too cute.

Great update! I have a squirming baby in my lap, so that's all for now!:lmao:

I have been slacking big time! Spent the weekend babysitting and couldn't get my computer to work on their network. Great updates! Sounds like you had a great day in Epcot! I love Epcot at Christmas. I wish we had more time there.

Hey Tim! Just checking in. Saying hi. Hanging out.

I love the pic pf her behind the drivers seat! Scary!!! I gave Tessa her first "driving lesson" on my lap a few weeks ago and she has asked to repeat the experience several times. I think she thinks she is ready to hit the streets. :lmao:
Oh boy.... Tessa's gonna be tearing it up!!!!! :lmao:
I hope everything has been going well with you and the girls. :goodvibes

Well at least I can win some sort of title around here!!! :woohoo:
:rotfl2:
The funny thing is, it was supposed to be the family in front of us, but they didn't speak the language and couldn't understand what the CM was asking them, so he asked us to follow him. I knew better than to turn him down after reading the DIS. He said, "Boy that family would be upset if they knew what they were missing out on!" He was right about that! :cool1: It was a really hot day, so that made it even better to get a few minutes in the A/C, something cold and refreshing to drink and still getting on the ride faster than we would have!!! :thumbsup2
Someone's loss is your gain!!!! I guess the impportant thing is that YOU got to get in there!

You better keep an eye on Molly! I'm thinking she's a bad influence......
She might be if Rosie and Kathy keep getting a hold of her!

Tim !!Marv abused !!!He is the King of ABUSING!!!!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:
LOL :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Chances are high I will try the potatoes. I usually LOVE potatoes-so we'll see....the only potatoes I've ever had at Disney that I didn't like were at CSR Pepper Market, they tasted like soap! :sad2:
I'll be waiting to see what you think of them then.... :surfweb:

You guys got a LOT of snow! Holy smokes. We only got a few inches, the previous snow was much bigger. Great pictures! I love the igloo and the one of Mel and Juliana walking in the snow, that really shows how deep it is!
We got another 4 inches today before it turned to ice... Now I just heard Friday could be another BIG one... great!

Great Epcot update too. Sorry to hear you didn't get a chance to do many things you wanted. Good reason for another trip, right? :goodvibes Wonderful picture in front of Epcot, you three look adorable in your MVMCP gear!
There is always next time, right?

Thank you!

Holy Guacamole Tim, That's a lot of snow! I'll never complain about the 6 inches we get out here in Chicago again.
The Igloo is awesome, I've always wanted to build one. The sledding looked like so much fun. I haven't been sledding in so long.
We did get a lot of snow from this storm but we made the best of it! ;)

So glad that Juliana had fun on Test Track. What a little dare devil.
Mel wasn't too sure about taking her on there but she had a blast!

I think this is a fathers worst nightmare. :rotfl2: Luckily you won't have to see this for a few more years.
I know the time will come before I know it. :sad2:

Mariachi music is so beautiful, coincidentally goes great with a Dos Equis XX.
You are correct!!!::yes:: :goodvibes

Hope you didn't get too much ice... we got quite a bit but we are finally over freezing now.

How exciting you got your Photopass CD!!!! :woohoo: When did you order it? I ordered mine last week, so I'm waiting . . . . :rolleyes1
I think ours took about 2 weeks from the time I ordered.

That's a little scary! :scared1:

I know I sound like a broken record but she really is too cute.
Awwww... thank you. :goodvibes

Great update! I have a squirming baby in my lap, so that's all for now!:lmao:
Thanks for stopping in! Hope you found something to do today with the kids. :goodvibes

Hope you made a lot of CHING babysitting all weekend. :upsidedow

We really had a good time in Epcot, it was just rushed.

Hey Tim! Just checking in. Saying hi. Hanging out.
HELLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! :wave2:

Hope you and Marv are having fun here tonight.... :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

You better keep an eye on Molly! I'm thinking she's a bad influence...... :rolleyes1
:scared1:

See Marv? I told you that you'd get us in trouble! Tim, Marv started it, not me.

The photopass CD took 2 weeks? That's good to know, I'm thinking of doing the CD this time around. I hope they (the photopass photographers) were able to capture some great shots of the 3 of you! Too bad you couldn't have taken one of the photopass guys back to GKTW for pics!:goodvibes

We got some good pics of the three of us.. believe it or not some of the pictures the PP photographer took with my camera came out 10X better than their pics. :confused3:confused3

Funny you say that, at GKTW they have photographers at the events and at the meet & greets in the am and they give you a CD when you check out with all the pics they took of you during the week. :goodvibes

Yes, I remember Noah... I'm heading there to check out her post.

I do still follow her on caringbridge... it is one thing after another for them. I feel so bad.

It feels a bit odd commenting on something that was posted 6 pages ago, but I enjoyed your last update.
I'm glad Ana enjoyed TT. It was a bit cold going 65mph outside in a convertible some of those days!

We told the lady at the guard house that Juliana was here. She laughed and said, 'Oh, Juliana? That's my name too!' What are the chances? The gate opened and we drove up to the House of Hearts which is where I had to check in. I told them Juliana's name and they were searching for her folder. They were looking everywhere, and couldn't find it. I started questioning myself if we were arrived on the correct day. The girl went into an office and came out with a big box of folders of people checking in and we were in there. Whew! We were there the right day!

I'm a bit late getting back to the party, but I'm here and getting all caught up. The villa looks very nice. Can't wait to read more and see how it turns out - only about 4 or is it 5 updates to go? :rotfl:

I had to sit down with a volunteer and sign a few papers and go over some information. She told me to have Juliana come in but I explained how she was passed out in the car. She said that it happens all the time and gave me a stuffed Mickey doll to give to her. It was so soft!

How nice of them! Plush toys are so comforting. :)

We finished up talking and then I went back to the car. The volunteer was going to show us to our village. She drove over in a golf cart while I followed in the car. On the short ride to our villa, Melody woke up Juliana. She was a little groggy for a minute, but woke up pretty quickly when we told her we were here.

Our villa was #239, which was right across from Matthew's Boundless Playground.

It's always nice to be near a playground, I say! :thumbsup2

Our guide opened the door to our villa and it was amazing! On the kitchen table were a few stuffed animals for Juliana. After a quick tour of the villa, the guide left. Here are some pics of the villa.

The villa was great. It was a nice size and could fit up to a family of 7. I grabbed our suitcases and pretty much just plopped them down because Juliana made up her mind that she wanted to go to the playground which was directly across the street from us.

Off to read some more...

After telling myself I would not spend all day on the computer yet again, I made the mistake of clicking on the link above and have spent the last few hours following the journey of Bella. What battles that sweet girl has had to fight. Having health issues of my own and dealing with the hassles and inconveniences they bring with them, I can't imagine the effort and energy and faith that dealing with the issues of a sick child requires. Sending the biggest hugs I can find to you & Juliana, Bella & her family - and all the other families of children who know the inside of a hospital all too well.

He's getting as bad as Marv. Or is it Marv is as bad as Tim?

I just wish one of them would get to it with an update.

Hey Kathy - I did an update a couple days ago and have a picture on there you might find familiar :rotfl:

All Juliana wanted to do was play at the playground- and I didn't blame her.

I wouldn't either... that's awesome. And that Candyland theme play area... nice. Of course I still love playing Candyland with my Annie.

We were staying in the right hand side of this house. The houses were all shaped and painted differently. It was really neat.

What a nice looking place. :)

This is Ol' Elmer. A huge tree that is always sleeping. He actually snores!

FUN! :thumbsup2

We finally arrived at the House of Hearts and I went to the counter to see what possibly could have been dropped off for us. I was handed a cute, HEAVY Mickey Bag, with our name on it, that came from Disney Floral & Gifts. There was a note attached and I read it out loud. Kathy and Marv sent the bag to us and we were really touched by their kindness and thoughtfulness. It was time to get back to the villa, unpack a little, and get ready for dinner. We were hungry!

Once we got back to the villa, we opened up the bag to see what could be inside- and making it SOOOOOO heavy.

There were pretzels, candy, rice krispy treats, fruit, water, juice, crackers, cheese, trail mix, and light up Mickey Heads (which BTW at least 15 people asked us where we bought them!). Thank you Kathy and Marv so much. You really made us feel special! Thank you for thinking of us!!!!!

HOW AWESOME!! Very nice. :thumbsup2:cool1: :)

What a great update... but still need to read more. I will catch up. I will catch up. I will catch up....

No problem Barry- I know you've been busy.

It wasn't too bad on Thursday... I didn't put my sweatshirt on till the evening. Not like it was on Dec 6th. :sad2:

Well, when you spend every other week at WDW, it must be hard to keep up! :lmao:

How nice of them! Plush toys are so comforting. :)
She loves the Mickey they gave her.... she still plays with it.

It's always nice to be near a playground, I say! :thumbsup2
Except when you are trying to leave to get to a park. :rotfl2:

Ha! Try 29 pages Barry... :rotfl: I have SOME READING to do!!!!!
Grab a frosty drink and put your feet up!

Thanks for the hugs.

Bella's story is so sad and so hard to read. She has been through so much and she still has many battles to fight.

I just wish one of them would get to it with an update.
You'll be sleeping when this is up but it will give you something to do tomorrow.
