A Wigdout Spring Break Adventure very short pre-trip report

I'm sorry Wigd, the only reason to even go to Wally World looking........was so I would know that I wouldn't find them, that way, in the event that it happens to hit the radar with my girls, that I could say I went to the "store" and they didn't have any!!! I will do my best not to mention Walmart and Disney in the same sentence EVER again. OOPS, looks like I am a slow learner!!!! Maybe not ever again, starting NOW!!!

Dogs, thanks for the heads up........turn DOWN the free pin offered at Check-in.........got it!!!! I surely would hate to get hooked!!! I new PINS were sharp, but I never, ever, thought about them including a hook!!! I am learning sooooo much from all of you!!! THANKS!!!

Oh, Bean and Wigd........I guess from that point of view, poddies are different, but since I usually just try to LISTEN and LEARN, I didn't realize they wouldn't speak to me, if I had actually attempted to say something. The first time I was in there, it was moving so fast, I don't think they could even respond to each other, as fast as the page was moving. I sort of took it they were all just saying what they wanted to say and hoping that somebody noticed it!!! I mean they all would say hello, 20 or so of them at the same time and then if you were unlucky to have a thought at that very moment that you were "sharing", I am sure NOBODY saw it, because of by the time the hi's stopped, everything else had already moved on up the page!!!

Also Shocker does deserve a blanket at the least..........manpris won't even cover his legs completely!!!!! Though, I do vote for him to NOT to be banned, after all he has gone to such links to make you happy!!!! Maybe not as far as he could have (aka rental car), but still farther than many would go (aka manpris, just for YOU!!), just my two cents, that's all I'm saying!!!

BOOTED, BOOTED, BOOTED, AGAIN........I am old PRO at it now!!!! Just ask Puu....I had asked her to tell you when you got to chat last night that it was considered booting....at least for ME and she said she would!!!!!!!!

BD, never turn down a free pin offer....but it won't be the same as the Disney trading pins. It might be a 1st visit pin, if you don't get it at check-in ask for one at guest relations....

I decided last night to check on airfare for our May/June trip. I went to the AirTran website and saw that the flights would cost about $1,000 for the 3 of us, after the $300 discount. We learned earlier this year not to really count on certificate travel as AirTran customer service agents are trained to let you know the connections you want are not attainable. I checked how much it would be if we flew down a day earlier and to my surprise, the total would be about $500! I immediately called and was connected to a very gracious customer service agent. I explained when we wanted to travel and he told me, surprise, the flights we wanted were not available for free travel. I asked about booking round trip flights and receiving a $100 discount for each ticket. He seemed perplexed as he had never heard of this. He put me on hold and went to talk to a supervisor. When he came back he offered the earliest flight out and the latest flight back. He applied the discount and even subtracted the fee for booking over the phone. The bottom line.....3 round trip flights to Orlando for $450 total! So now all I had to do was call DVC and get a room at SSR for the night of May 29th. It happens that we had a few developer points left so I used those and some of the add-on points we recently purchased. We are set for 3 nights at SSR, and then 10 nights at BCV! I then asked the cm to check our December trip and adjust the points with that add-on. She was not pleased with the way the system was working but after about an hour, all was taken care of.......

Congratulations on the great airfare price! I couldn't get that price for 2 for half the distance and have been watching daily for a month. AirTran doesn't fly from SE NC, but I hear good things about them.

I'm guessing that your feelings are not hurt at staying an extra day! What a wonderful trip you will have this summer

However, you can get some cute Disney jewelry there. I've gotten some cute Mickey head earrings. NO pins, but lanyards if you are into Hannah Montana or High School Musical.
If you are a Disney Movie Club VIP memeber, you can get a free pin with each movie order, so long as you actually go online and enter your choice with your order, and not wait until your selection-o-the-month gets automatically sent because you didn't remember to fill out the form.

BUT, wait before you start planning for that day.........do these EXTRA ADR's count as a change (I mean the whole PLAN has CHANGED to add the day)? I mean I already have my guess at a Baker's Dozen, but if Wigd. is allowed to add some ADR's for the extra day, I may need to rethink my guess, since she will have some of the ones she likely would have changed too, if she didn't get the nice bonus because of Shocker's HARD WORK and his willingness to be on phone for soooooo long to get the deal worked out!! I mean I want to win the pool, since I didn't stand a chance on Shocker's Jeporady and it wouldn't be fair to change the rules NOW..........so, I say any add ons count as a change!! LOL

P.S. Guessing you can pretty much say what you want at this point Shocker, I don't see Wigd. sending you into the hallway NOW!!!

BUT, wait before you start planning for that day.........do these EXTRA ADR's count as a change (I mean the whole PLAN has CHANGED to add the day)?
