A Wigdout Spring Break Adventure very short pre-trip report

Wig - there is a an annual passholder only sale at World of Disney (see Mickey Monitor for details). It is on June 6 (I think) in early morning - like 6:00 AM

Hey Ros, since Shocker is on the way to Disney as I type this, let me go ahead and THANK YOU for him!! I know he will be thrilled if Wigd. happens across your post before that 6 AM sale. Since we KNOW she won't be getting up!!! I can already see how that is all going to unfold!!!! ...............

Sometime on the morning of June 5th.... Wigd. talking to Shocker...."hey honey, I want to swing by World of Disney this afternoon after our lunch ADR, will that be OK??"

Shocker in keeping with the theme of making "her" trip truly magical...."well of course dear, anything you wish!!"

Later that afternoon, after showing Shocker everything she LOVES and really wants at the World of Disney...........

Wigd. again speaking to Shocker....."Wow I really want all this stuff, that is the reason I wrote it all down on this little honey-do pad that I just happened to have here in my new Vera. OH....you know what honey.....I JUST REMEMBERED, early tomorrow morning they are having an annual passholder sale. It would be the PERFECT time to get all these things, well other than all of us having to get up at 6 AM."

Shocker responding........."well if you want this stuff and that is when the sale is, then I say you should do it!!" How did you even know about this sale??

Wigd........."well to tell you the truth it was in the Mickey Monitor that never came to us, but THANKFULLY Ros let me know about it on the boards!! Anyway, I think it would be the perfect time to buy this stuff, it would SAVE us so much.......I just hate to have to get BAYLOR up so early, since he hates to shop!!

Shocker, with it now hitting him what is coming.........."Uh huh!! That Ros is a true friend, remind me to Thank Her!!!"

Wigd. now ready to drop the hammer........."I certainly will remind you. You know, I wrote down everything I wanted on this pad, sooooo......you could run over here in the morning and I will stay and that way WE could let Baylor sleep in???"

Shocker......."YES Dear, but of course, there is nothing more important to me than your happiness and if it means getting up at the crack of dawn, no make that BEFORE the crack of dawn to make you happy, then consider it done!!! Where is the list??"


Sorry, I know I took a little liberty in this post, but hey we have to keep ourselves busy while they are at the "World"!!!!! I know Shocker will approve, not too sure about Wigd.!! Then again, it could turn out the other way around. Shocker may no longer call me Brother and Wigd. could become my new best friend!! Since Wigd. is on vacation it might not have crossed her mind when she saw your post on how to handle that "6 AM" sale, so my post may give her an idea!!

Ha Ha Buster, Baylor says that he wants to go to that super neat, very cool, AP holders only sale........ He said "Get me up at 5"
I'm the one that's a little unsure about getting up so early but if I was home, I would be wishing that I was down here for the sale......So what to do? What to do?

It will be weeks before she finally spills the beans........OK, maybe not weeks, but a while before she even considers answering the riddles to her ryhmes!! I have decided the "teacher" in her, feels like WE all need to learn patience and therefore she has taken it upon herself to teach us that lesson!!!

MeMom I about fell out of the chair when I read what you wrote. I take it YOU are one of those????..........just can't get enough walking in at Disney???? One of "those" that gets up at the crack of dawn for a morning stroll before spending all day walking to and fro, here and there, in this park, to this ADR, back to the room, over to refill your mug, then down to the pool, then back to the room, then back down to the bus stop to head to yet a different park, so you can walk all through it, until you have to head out to a different resort for your next ADR and to watch the fireworks, which meant walking to the beach, then from there walking back to the bus stop so you can get back to your resort, where you can walk back to your room, to get your mug so you can walk back to the main building and refill it again, which means having to walk back to your room again, where you can finally lay down to get some rest??? MORNING STROLL???? I think the big question of the day is........will Shocker survive the "shopping" day........how many bags can one man carry?? We shall soon find out!!! OK, not soon...patience, patience, patience!!! I have to learn that lesson too!!!!!!!!

Replace the ADR's with counter service and you got yourself a Disney Day with MeMom. We have lots of pictures from our trips of teh resort in the dark. Lots of cleaning and maintenance being done in the wee hours of the morning. She can't help it. She forces herself to stay in the room until sometime between 4:30 and 5:00 for fear that a CM won't believe that she has a room and has been sleeping on a lounge chair by the pool.

I could just tell that me and MeMom would get along swell. I AM SUCH A CS PERSON!!!!!!!!!!! Isn't it wonderful to not have to be at a certain place at a certain time and to be able to enjoy the parks as you want, when you want. I don't know how all those "planners" make ADRs and then have to work around them????? Of course...........if I was spending the day with MeMom at Disney....when she finally crept out of the room (too funny!!) and I knew it was going to be an EARLY day, she would likely find me in the lounge chair by the pool snoring (I wouldn't care what the CM's thought!!!), where she could wake me up as she was strolling by!!!!!!!!!!! I would however, be hopeful that she came by the pool last on her "morning" stroll and only AFTER the buses started rolling!!
