A Wigdout Spring Break Adventure very short pre-trip report

What ever are we going to do around here without you and CP for so long??? CP is my early morning friend, and she's leaving me all alone to prowl the boards at 4 a.m. Hopefully, some of our friends across the sea will pipe in occasionally, but it won't be the same without her!

Two whole weeks! That's what I want someday, but for now, we are grateful for the ten days we do get on the summer trips. Maybe we can up it to twelve in the next few years and then sneak into fourteen after that.

I take a lot of clothes, too. As hot as it is down there, I change clothes when I go back to the room in the afternoons. I at least get a fresh shirt on


If Shocker runs short on unmentionables, they have some really cool Mickey boxers he can buy.

Our longest trip has been 5 nights, so this is going to be very interesting........ I won't be up at the crack of dawn like Jackie but will have my laptop along and am hoping for just a little time for DISing......

Be careful with that -- I took over Charles's packing for him when it got out of hand.



I was thinking about that the other day -- I am so used to being on the Dis with you first thing in the morning while my family is still fast asleep -- I guess I will need to take some early morning walks a la MeMom around AKL and watch the animals wake up.

I fear the week is going to fly by -- I will be home before you or I know it.

Not without some great times and many laughs!


As for the packing.........Shocker wouldn't dare....

I am not going to run out of unmentionables or mentionables....we will have a washer/dryer and wigd does a fantastic job with laundry!

I do enjoy me some good laundry!

Friday May 29 Flight departs 6:30 am Baylor plans to be sick on landing in Atlanta........
Arrive in Orlando about noon
We check into Saratoga Springs Dinner at Hollywood Brown Derby at 5:40 Then head over to MK to meet up with Lady Lallie.

Saturday May 30 Boma Breakfast 10:15 Then our DIS friend Charlotte is picking us up for outlet and grocery shopping. We will also go to the giant McDonalds, but I don't think we will make it in time for the gator show.... She is also taunting us with a big surprise, I have no clue what she has planned but it's sure to make the trip report!

Sunday May 30 Rope Drop at MK lunch at LTT probably back to the resort for some pool time in the afternoon and I'm not sure where we will be in the evening, I need to check TGM......

Monday June 1 Pack up for move to Beach Club Villas, I'm not sure if we need to wait on bell service or not but they are moving us over.
World Showcase today dinner at Cape May 5:35 (first time eating here) then walk back over for Illuminations (this might become a habit)

Tuesday June 2 Rope Drop at DHS lunch at 50's Prime Time (first time eating here) depending on the heat or rain we may go back and spend some time in our 1 br villa and maybe do some laundry.... I hope the weather is good and we can spend the day here! Evening time we may grab something at Beaches and Cream or go over to the boardwalk, Baylor is dying to blow some money on the games!

Wednesday June 3 Pool day and DIS meet with NDM and family we are hanging out by the pool, then dinner at Le Cellier. If we get rained out we will go to Welcome Home Wednesdays at the boardwalk. May walk over for another Illuminations

Thursday June 4 Magic Kingdom rope drop Citricos dinner 5:35 (first time eating here) DHS for Fantasmic

Friday June 5 Bfast 1900 Park Fare 10:00 (first time for bfast here) Ohana dinner 6:40 would love to hang around for Wishes on the beach Not sure about a park today possible DISmeet at MK or it may be an Epcot day for us.

Saturday June 6 Epcot rope drop Chefs lunch 12:20 Rose and Crown dinner 7:10 (first time eating here) Meet up with CP and family for Illuminations.

Sunday June 7 rope drop at Animal Kingdom Tusker House bfast 10:10 we plan to spend the day here trying to get it all done...We are thinking a CS at Flame Tree later

Monday June 8 Kona Bfast Tonga Toast!! Akershus 4:55 (first time eating here) This day is up in the air at this point we could end up anywhere depending on weather maybe another storm along bay day.

Tuesday June 9 DISmeet with Scott and family at MK Grand Floridian Cafe for dinner 5:25 (first time eating here) We need to get back over to Animal Kingdom.....

Wednesday June 10 Crystal Palace Breakfast 8:20 with CP and family Magic Kingdom day

Thursday June 11 Cape May bfast ( first time eating bfast here) then pack up and leave bags at bell service
I have just noticed that we don't have a DTD day.........hmmmmmm Shocker has all the TGM and Ridemax printed....I may have to look at some of these plans....lol

The only thing that is for sure on this trip are our ADRs and DISmeets! Some days it might be whatever we feel like.

I think your plans sound wonderful and it sounds like there is something in them for everyone.........well, I assume Shocker will find something to keep him busy while making your trip magical.

HOWEVER, did I notice that you said.......the ONLY thing that is for sure on this trip are our ADRs???????? WOW, THANK YOU, you must have known how much I needed a truly fall out of the chair LAUGH tonight???? I appreciate YOU, for trying to throw a little Magic my way since I won't get to be in the land of Magic with y'all.

I found out today that I am going to be off tom night, so I will try my best to remember and get on chat. Just send me an email to jenharring@gmail.com to remind me. You know there are a thousand things running threw my head right now.
I found out last night that my nephew gets to come with us, or well my mom is going to drop him off at the resort, so I had to call and have him added. But he is only 2 will be turning 3 while there so yeah.
But now I have a 10mo, 2 1/2 yr, 3 yr, 5, 7, 9 yr old going to be with us. wow, think god my sis is going to be with us a lot, but the 2 1/2 yr old is hers.

Wigd, just finished reading your itinerary -- I thought we were meeting up for Illuminations on Monday after we eat at Rose and Crown, and you eat in Norway...did you want to do Saturday instead?
