Hey Linda!!! 8 days!!! You guys must be so excited!!!! I hope everything is good and everyone is healthy!!!!

Yeah, we're VERY excited!!!!  I'm a bit tired right now, though after a marathon of cleaning today. Dh took the kids out of the house so I could spend some effecient hours cleaning. I vaccumed behind and under all our furniture, shampooed the main floor rugs, deep cleaned the bathroom (scrubbed the tub with bleach scrub), cleaned the stove inside and out, washed the showercurtain and more. So now I'm pooped! :upsidedow But it feels good to have a clean house and tomorrow I will finish up so we can decorate on Saturday! :santa: :)

I hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving!!!

Today it is 4 days left.... I can't even believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance3: :yay: :woohoo:

We went to meet our Wish Granters at the Rainbow Society today and it was SO much fun!!! :thumbsup2 They gave us our tickets, spending money (WOW!!!) and lots of information (most of which I knew already thanks to all the info from previous Wish Trippers). One really, really cool thing they told us, though, that we didn't know about: Thursday, the 11th, our last day, they are doing a special tree lighting ceremony at the weekly Christmas party at GKTW and TONS of Disney characters will show up!!!! :cloud9: Isn't that just AWESOME??!!!?? Michael and me agreed that that will more than make up for us not being able to go to MK more than one day! Apparently they're expecting Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto and more!!!

I've been busy getting ready for out trip too. I made the kids some shirts to wear at Seuss Landing when we go there on Sunday (well, I ironed them on, but Melissa, mickeysmyboy, made the disigns!!! Thank you Melissa!!!!!!). I found a cute skirt at Gymboree and red and white striped tights at Gap and I bought a matching hair bow/tie for Lydia, so now she has a whole outfit (that I just packed in a ziplock bag for our trip)! Here are some pictures of her and Tobias (I just quickly tied up her hair, so it is a bit funny, lol):

It was impossible to get Tobias to "pose" but I guess I can't expect more from an 18 month old! :rotfl:

Me and Lydia put up our tiny table top tree on Saturday (which will be our only tree this year as I don't think big one would survive my son!! :rotfl2: ). It was SOOO much fun!! She's never decorated the tree with me before and she was very excited to "help"! ;) :lmao: She did fairly good though and we got the ornaments spread out a bit. We had Christmas music on and cinnamon and cloves simmering on the stove.... Ah! :cloud9:

I've got most of my packing yet to do but I have almost everything upstairs either in the suitcases or in my Disney Box of Treasures (:rotfl:)

I'm going for a massage on Wednesday afternoon. I'm so looking forward to that! I think it will give me a relaxing break in the midst of getting everything ready.

I just want to once again thank the Disboutiquers for their generous giving!!! You've made our journey even more magical. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!!!

WE ARE HOME!!!!!!

Well, it's more like: we... are... home.....!
I want to go back!!!!!!! :sad1: No, really, I do!

We've had the most amazing, magical week in our entire lives.... I think it is impossible to explain unless you've been there. Lydia was all aglow all week. I've never seen her so excited, so happy. She laughed and danced and yelled "I love this!" She met Minnie and Mickey THREE TIMES! She giggled and played with Pluto like a real dog (he was great!). She went on the carousell 6times in a row one morning!!!! :rotfl: It was just AMAZING!!!!!! I just get all teary eyed thinking about it.... :sad1: :cloud9:

We just got back, so it might be a couple of days before I can start my TR for real, but I'm looking forward to sharing it with all of you. :) Here is one picture I'll share with you before I go:

She is messy from all the chocolate (Ice Cream Palace, anyone?) but her face says it all! ;)

Coming home is the hardest part of all! Don't we all wish we could live there!?

popcorn:: okay i am so excited to read about your trip. cant wait. that pic is beyond adorable, her eyes say it all. who needs to christmas shop i have trip reports to read

I am starting my first installment tonight!

We were leaving at 4am on the Friday! :scared1: Very, very early!!! I had taken a sleeping pill early the night before so I would be able to sleep at all (I have insomnia issues every now and then and figured with all the excitement and stress I wouldn't be albe to sleep). We got up at 3:30, got dressed and ready, put the last bags in the car, got the kids up, put them in the car and we were off!!! It was so early, but none of us were sleepy at all! We got to the airport, went through security and got on our first flight to Minneapolis. We had a bit of a layover there and the kids had fun in a playarea:

Disboardpics117.jpg

They did fairly good on the two flights but were getting a bit restless at the end, especially Tobias. 18 month olds usually don't do sitting still too well. He had his own seat and was using CARES but he kept arching his back and sliding down the seat... :confused3 There really should be a crotch buckle on those things! Anyways! Lydia was getting very excited as we got ready to get off the plane. :cloud9: She put her little pink backpack on with her crayons and books in.

Disboardpics118.jpg

As we walked towards where we'd pick up our bags, we saw a sweet lady standing holding a sign with Lydia's name on it!!!

She was so helpful and nice and helped us get our luggage and find our rental car! We were very happy with our car, it was quite new and roomy. She gave us some directions and joked that the first step was to get out of the parking garage! We did find our way out, thankfully, and didn't have too much trouble finding Bass Road. Ah... Even just saying that brings memories... :cloud9: When we got to the gate the lady in the booth smiled and said welcome home! We were SOOOO excited!! We checked in and a very nice gentleman gave us lots of information and then showed us to our villa. We were in 103 and so we were really nice and close to everyting. That was really great all week as there really was no good parking around the main areas.

Disboardpics122.jpg

Our house was all decorated for Christmas with lots of Christmas toys and two Christmas trees (one of which had to be rescued from our little guy!). It was really cute!

Disboardpics123.jpg

Isn't this lamp cool?!?!

Disboardpics124.jpg

We got the customary gift bag full of stuff: snacks, ornaments, books, movies etc. Lydia and Tobias got the Mickey and Shamu and t-shirts too. :) They also handed us a package and I got so excited when I saw it was the last Big Give package!!! :yay: Crystal sent a gorgeous princess outfit for Lydia and a Winnie the Pooh and a blue Mickey outfit for Tobias. I'll post more pictures of the outfits later on in the week. Lydia instantly reverted to Princess mode as soon as she tried hers on and waved her magic wand around. There was also lots of cute stickers and a Mickey car keys set for Tobias in Crystal's package. :)

That first night we didn't do too much since the kids were already so tired. We missed out on the Princess and Pirates party but that was okay. We had a yummy supper at the Gingerbread House and tried to get the kids to bed. Unsucessfully, unfurtunately! They were both a bit wired and in a strange place so they didn't actually fall asleep until 10! But eventually it was peaceful in our little villa. Me and dh watched a show on the laptop we'd brought along and went to bed too. Tomorrow was promising to be a great day!

More to come!!!!!
