I'll answer this one for my dd, shes the talented one in the family! Her dream roles are Fantine in Les Miserables (she wants to see me cry!) and Belle in Beauty and the Beast. But now that she is 17 the role of Maureen in Rent is one that she really loves. Great topic OP!

I had the good fortune to play Anna this spring at the outdoor theatre here in Houston. It was absolutely amazing, and my King was to die for!

Now for my picks:

Eponine or Fantine (b/c I'm of that generation...); really, if I can just perform in Les Mis once before I die I'll be happy.

Belle or Mary Poppins (in my fantasy I'm forever in my 20's)

Millie from Thoroughly Modern...(again, in my fantasy I'm tall and leggy and an amazing tapper - something like this banana! )

Nancy from Oliver (As Long As He Needs Me is a rockin' belt!)

Roxie Hart from Chicago (there I am dancing again... )

SUCH an amazing musical.. I love Jason Robert Brown.. have you heard Songs For a New World? It's different but just as good.
