A Wedding for You

Ive ordered my marriage licence from a wedding for you inc. I read on their website that this needs to be notarized. Can anyone advise me who i would get to do this?

I dont have a local court house so i would have to go into london to get this done if it needs to be done by a judge?

Here in the states, you can get things notarized at your local bank as well.

We looked into doing this and I'm almost certain that it has to be a member of a strict list of notaries. Just can't find what I've done with the info. I'll keep searching.....

i had it done at my bank for free since we had accounts there. most banks have a notary on hand.

We just went to the Courthouse in Kissimmee and had everything taken care of there and then, cost about $95.
Am I missing somehting here?

We contacted our local one and was told it would cost us an hour of their time (£75), so we didn't follow up on this. Going to make an appointment at the courthouse & grab a taxi. Saves some pennies.

Because i dont have the time when in Florida! Otherwise i would have done!

It really only takes about an hour, and at least you know you have it in your hand, there and then. You can do it at any time, there is no minimum residency time, so you could go as soon as you land if you wanted to.
We "thought" that we needed to be resident for 4 days before getting the license, but not the case.

The problem is that we arrive on a Saturday afternoon, the Wedding is Tuesday and on the Monday i have the rehearsal and several things to do for other elements of the wedding. My FMIL offered to pay for us to get it done this way so that we do not have to worry about getting that done ontop of everything else we need to do on the Monday.
